Brooks service did not properly install 6 split cell HVAC units. He did most of the installs in the middle of the night after working on other jobs all day. He never fully completed the install. ALL six units have not performed properly and ALL have leaked regularly causing damage to my brand new facility, both water damage and electrical issues. There is several thousand dollars worth of damage to the building. The units starting leaking almost immediately. This has had a direct impact on my wedding, parties and events with clients due to water leaks by the bucket fulls during events or just not working at all. Prior to one of the weddings, his worker came out and wrapped a towel around one of the leaking units to stop the leaking. I was unaware of the "towel" fix until another AC company came out to look at the unit. One of the larger units had improper copper tubing installed. Brooks reduced the 5/8 tubing coming out of the unit down to a 3/8 size tubing which greatly impacts the cooling capacity. Brooks promised to not only install all of the units but he promised to keep them maintained and even provide the air filter needed for my conventional unit. He did attempt several times to stop the leaking, but got tired of coming out to fix the problem and eventually quit answering my phone calls and would not respond to my text messages. I even went to his house (of which he operates from) to visit with him about the problems. Brooks' wife came to the door. She told me he said that I was just a customer that could not be pleased or satisfied. I have had to hire an electrician to replace lighting, and a new HVAC company to do repairs. It has been quite a challenge to determine the best route since there is extensive wood work throughout the building.I simply expect the job to be completed with proper installation and drainage. These problems are having a direct impact on my business.
