Money matters more than the welfare of people's safety at 2D Sports & Fitness. We hosted an afternoon party here for our child in late August. It was a huge mistake. When we first walked into to the party room, our family members told co-owner ***** that its way too hot in here. They were right. It felt like the same temperature indoors as it was outside....upper 90s. ***** responded that he does not have the keys to unlock the *** only his wife does...****** the other co-owner. We asked him to contact her to lower the temperature before the guests arrive but that never happened. He reiterated that "I don't have the keys. Only my wife does." He didn't make it a priority to contact his wife and have the ** turned on. We had over 80 kids and adults present at our party who had to endure extreme heat due to 2D's non-willingness to address this issue. ****** conveniently showed up at 4 pm after the party was over. The party was a disaster. It was extremely hot for people to enjoy and a dis-service to our guests. Everyone's phones flashed a temperature too hot warning and wouldn't operate to take pics because the temperature in the room was over heated. We were worried that the food could become inedible or contaminated. Some kids were experiencing heat exhaustion symptoms. When we expressed our concerns to ****** she completely dismissed them. First she said the ** was on the whole time and she just shut it off. Shortly later she contradicted herself and said that the temperature inside and outside are the same because 2D is a metal building. After talking to her for a few minutes we realized she would continue to deny, minimize and not take any responsibility for 2D's failure to provide what is a basic necessity. As we voiced our concerns, ****** became intimidating, yelled at the top of her lungs and kicked us out. "Get out of my gym!" Don't bring your children here. They care much more about taking shortcuts and making money rather than ensuring people's safety.
