We entered into a verbal agreement on November 3, 2022. I purchased a new split HVAC unit from Rey's Electric. He was supposed to remove old duct work from roof and redirect the air flow into two new vents, one in kitchen and one in dining room. He was also supposed to install the new split HVAC unit with 2 internal units, one being in the bedroom and one in the living room along with provide electricity to all units. He was also going to install a new outlet into the laundry room for the washing machine. All was agreed that the budget for this would be below $5000.00 and be completed by Thanksgiving 2022. I have receipts showing the payments of $3600.00 in check and the remainder of $1400.00 cash at different times throughout November. 11-3-2022 check $3600.00 11-7-2022 cash $200.00 11-18-2022 cash $500.00 11-21-2022 cash $200.00 11-28-2022 cash $300.00 11-30-2022 cash $200.00 Work was not done properly and the new unit does not work. I have made numerous attempts asking Rey to repair the damage and complete the job properly and he refuses. I have photos of the damage that Rey's Electric did to the house. Rey's employee damaged the ceiling by drilling holes where they weren't needed when installing the new vent in the kitchen, another employee also damaged the living room and the bedroom vents by prying with a hammer against the sheetrock and causing it to break and chip. One of the ceiling vents was covered with the wrong type of vent to hide the damage. The new inside units are not mounted level and you can see to the outside around them. The breaker box was left disassembled and some of the breakers were not even reinstalled and wires were left hanging out causing me to lose power to my carport and my storage shed. The new unit was prefilled with freon and Rey cut the lines and lost the freon as well as cut some of the electric connections and this is why the unit does not work. There is a lot of damage and photos are available if needed.

"The summer of 2022 I talked to **** ******, about a mini-split A/C system. The cost was 3,600.00 and I charged labor of 4,000.00 to take existing duct out o the attic to the outside to flat roof metal duct per-truck into inside ceiling. My Estimate was to disconnect from where duct came out of attic. The roofers were to take duct out where they went into ceiling. My helper was there and helped the roofers take duct, because they could speak spanish like my helper. Now Mr. ****** tells me that was my job anyway, and he was my helper tear metal duct throat out and tear sheet rock up. Mr. ****** will ot pay for A/C job until I finish job. A/C is working, the a/c was working when we left 1 month later. He did call and said it wasn't so I sent **** ***** to check it out and he fixed it. Some wire were shortened. On Jan 8th I got a text from ******** and Mr. ****** was angry and said I would not answer the phone, which I answer or my wife answers. He didn't never call. Now he tells me, jobs not finished we're going to patch and paint ceiling, which wasn't  my job in the first place. The reason I'm doing this is because Mr. ****** is a veteran, and I respect veterans. But not a liar like him. I hae to be in a fox hole with him which my dad a veteran said you have to trust the soldier that's in there with you.
