I contracted with E&M *32313632393031373138* to build a ****ft goat fence w/SECURE gates. The agreed price was $****0. The 1st check of $2000 was picked up on 4/15 & cashed 4/17. The next 2 checks were pick up and cashed 5/1 ($2500 each). The 4th check was picked up and cashed 5/15 ($3000). The final pymt was to be paid once the fence was walked and agreed it was completed appropriately. I was uneasy during this process and even sent a text stating that I felt like I was being played. The checks had to be small so they could be cashed, not deposited. The job did not start until 6/20, 65 days AFTER the 1st pymt. Due to the delay, I lost 2 leases on the property. There was also an agreement to remove various junk that was left on the property for which I would reimburse the dump fees; didn't happen. I do not approve of the flimsy gates that were used & asked for receipts so that I could exchange them but was told there are no *************** are homemade. They are too flimsy and unsecure for what I need. I also had to insist that the gates be attached to gate posts, NOT the * braces as that puts too much stress on the fence over time. I was told this is not how they build fences yet every other place I s/w instructed me gate posts are the most secure & reliable way to attach gates. I was charged $125 PER POST to have this done. Retail is $35-44each. I paid for 2 barbed wire rolls. The fenced property is **** ft and the rolls are **** each. I had to ask the remainder (~ **** feet) be returned to me. I had a 3rd party walk the area on 7/1 to ensure the project was complete. It was recommended and AGREED to that the $125 posts be welded to the * brace for security. Also, the fence violates Williamson County ************* Ordinance as it is attached to COUNTY property. This is per ************** *********** of *************** I have readily agreed to release the $7000 balance (check is on hold at BOA) once BOT* of these issues are corrected. I do NOT want them on property unannounced.
