On April 27, 2023, we paid an invoice for installing 4 4-ton Frigidaire HV** outdoor unit with 20 kw heat strips new pad. The salesman gave a receipt showing the following services would be performed: Take out old duct and install all new duct and plenums, install new copper for refrigerant lines, add new drain lines and new filter. Labor and materials were included in the total price of $9500 which was paid in a check that was deposited to the technician's account on 27 April 2023. The technician delivered the materials cost for everything labor and materials on 15 May 2023 and he informed me the work was completed on 18 May 2023. From that time to the present, the ** system failed to produce air or heat. I contacted the technician numerous times about this issue and he advised that I needed to install new insulation in the attic. I informed him insulation has nothing to do with the functionality of the system. The technician last visited the property on 31 January 2024 and brought another technician with him. The new technician stated the installation was done incorrectly. The original technician informed me that he was going to order new materials to correct the problem. I contacted him on 7 April to find out when the materials would be installed and he informed me that he was attending a funeral involving a family member, and asked me to be patient. However, he has not provided any further update to the present on when the repairs will be made. The technician had provided paperwork stating one-year parts and labor on the system from him, and another 10-year manufacturer warranty afterward. To date, he has not fulfilled his obligation to honor the warranty.

In my current house rehab project I requested several quotes from electricians. One quote was really competitive and we hired that company. Unfortunately it was a scam. The electrician ************************* took a down payment of $2,400 for ordering materials and applying for a permit. He promised to send the invoice later that day once he was back in the office. He never sent an invoice, postponed the date of the service several times and when he finally showed up to do the work he was hired for, he tried to double the price and told me I had to go with him and pay as he is obliged to report home owners who refuse to fix security risks regarding their electrical setup. I asked him to leave as I wasn't willing to get blackmailed. He walked out and never did any of the work, I requested the return of the down payment for services not rendered. He does not reply to any texts or phone calls. I contacted the company he was working for and learnt that he was fired from that electric company for fraudulent activities. He scammed several customers and stole materials from his employer for almost 2 years. The date I made the transfer of the down payment to him was April 04 2022, the payment went to his contracting company, Hunny Do Home Services, ******, **. As I did not get any work done he was hired for I am asking for the return of my down payment of $2,400.
