Overcharge of ******** for 9 unused days of inpatient services. My treatment plan was completed and I discharged with the full support of the clinical team. My decision to discharge was also based on the negligence in care and multiple medication mistakes as outlined in my emails and letters to leadership and high have gone ignored.Business response

This is a response to case number ********. The patient filed a complaint stating an overcharge of $12,000 for unused days at our residential treatment program. It is also stated that the patient completed his treatment plan and had 100% full support from the Enterhealth clinical team to discharge from Enterhealth 9 days early. For the record, Enterhealth has been providing high quality treatment for the last 15 years and is fully licensed and accredited by the ********** of ****** and ***** Services and ***************** respectively. Enterhealth takes any complaints very seriously and conducts full due diligence on such complaints. In this particular case, the patient signed up for 30 days of treatment with Enterhealth. The patient completed 4 days of withdrawal stabilization (i.e. "detox") and 17 days of intensive residential treatment. The patient's medical records and consultations with treating clinical staff represent conclusively that the patient left treatment prematurely without fulfilling his treatment plan. All medical and clinical records support this conclusion. Enterhealth has always emphasized the importance of completing treatment goals and objectives as an important component to treatment. Per the financial agreement that patient/guarantor agrees to upon entering treatment, it is understood that leaving treatment against medical or clinical advice will result in no reimbursement for days not fulfilled. In addition to this response, Enterhealth has reached out to the patient via phone and email to help resolve further issues that patient had with his treatment. It has always been Enterhealth's desire to resolve any complaints or misunderstandings that it has with patients and their care. We will continue to try to resolve this particular issue with this patient. Thank you.Customer response

I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution. The business has acted with a high degree to integrity with the *** personally engaging with me and scheduling time to meet in person. I am please with the outcome and wish to see my original filing removed.
