They quoted me a doctor visit was 80 bucks u paid the 80 got to see a doctor for 3mins and they get told to go down the hall and talk with billing theb try to charge 700 for simple blood work and then send me some bill seeking 120 bucks more no this was explained and the when I asked to to explain they send some letter saying there ending me coming there.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/05/31) */ Mr. ***** had an office visit with a provider at Community Healthcare Center. To properly diagnose his chief complaint, lab work was ordered in accordance with evidence based guidelines. When informed of the cost of the required labs, which are tested and billed by a reference laboratory, he seemingly became irate, refused to wear a mask, and declared that he had been "bamboozled". Mr. ***** was asked to leave the premises based on the above behavior. The initial amount that he paid (80.00) was to see a provider. $80.00 is the minimum amount collected towards the cost of an office visit if a patient is ineligible for a sliding fee discount based on income level. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/06/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) If you call a office and ask for pricing before visiting you should be given honest and transparent pricing telling your patients it's 80 for a visit then turning around and billions them 120 is wrong and you know its a scam to get people in saying it's 80 over the phone and then never explain the 120 until a bill shows up on your mail box please. You did no type of exam or anything g to even collect a dollar from me your health care service is no health care at all. I was waiting over an hour without again without any mask and no one say anything at all then all of a sudden I have to leave because you can't explain why all of a sudden I need to have a mask on. So if your going to give your response and reflect on that day you need all the fact. People of wichita falls stay away from community Healthcare again they are trash Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/06/03) */ Community Healthcare Center (CHC) records all incoming and outgoing calls. Mr. ***** spoke to a billing department representative and after reviewing the call between Mr. ***** and the CHC representative, it has been confirmed that Mr. ***** was given correct information and was informed that 80.00 would be a deposit and that labs would be a separate charge. With regards to the mask complaint, there are signs posted throughout the clinic stating that masks are required and they are provided for patients who arrive without one.Initial Complaint

This practice never answers the phone. I have been on hold in several different occasions for 30 minutes and above. Today, I have been on hold for over 1 hour just trying to get an appointment. I was on hold first for 15 minutes then chose the option to get a call back. Once I got the call back the lady sounded lost and transferred me to the referral line, who then after 15 more minutes collected my child's information, and put me on hold for over 40 minutes. I got tired of listening to the same recording promoting kidzdoc app that charges about $180 per consultation and after a total of 1 hour and 5 minutes holding for this person to come back to the line I hung up.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/03/15) */ I'm terrible sorry that this parent has had difficulties booking an appointment for her child. However, the issues referenced in this complaint are not related to Community Healthcare Center or Pediatric Associates. Our callers cannot be on hold for more than 4 minutes without the option to leave a voicemail. We don't promote the Kidzdoc App as we don't utilize it. (in fact, have not heard of it) Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. They don't care, you are just one more.... Unprofessional to the core. Is not terrible sorry, it is terribly sorry** The response from the practice shows defensiveness and not willingness to make it right. This is a lie, their automated music while on hold is all about kidz doc app. The number I have been calling and calling is 727-376-4040 and it is the only number they have for all offices and you cannot even contact each office separately. We are Pediatric Associates in Wichita Falls, Texas and not associated with the Florida business. . Please transfer this case to the appropriate business in Trinity, Florida.
