Payson utah Subway. Let's be honest it's never been that good but now it is unsafe and not edible. None of the workers have food handlers, none of them wear proper gear, gloves, hats, name tags, aprons etc, the store is constantly dirty. The drink station has dust that's clearly been there for a while. The management is completely rude to customers AND to their employees. They pay $10 an hour. They obviously don't care if the employees have a good handlers. Most of them don't even know how to make a simple sandwich then they say "sorry I'm still training' even though I have seen them over a few months of them working there. They also use expired food, moldy vegetables. The bread is always burnt and never cooked properly. I have seen them throw out boxes of cooked bread because the employees don't know how to cook because they haven't even done training OR have a food handlers. I have proof they don't. Please please get this place shut down! They also just barely passed an inspection because they only had 2 people on shift and expected them to do lunch rush during the santaquin police officer funeral and graduation... Explain how that is okay for the management to do? Then blame employees and fire one of them for the managements mistakes of understaffing them during a very busy day and a review... My experience as a customer there was terrible. I found out that after I had eaten there at Subway I got really really sick. I came back to complain to the manager his name is (Dallon), he personally showed me an area behind a sink that has large amounts of heavy black mold. (Dallon) assured me that he complained about it back in march but he’s told me nothing has been done and that his franchise manager ( Mike) is aware of the issue and also lied on his inspection forms with the city. This should be dealt with because this is a MAJOR health issue especially if food is being made there. If the franchise manager is for sure lying on his state inspections as the building manager (Dallon) says he is, than this is dangerous behavior and I’m suing for every penny I can get. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THIS!
