I subscribed to a membership with their business, but never got what I was promised. Instead, their salesman attempted to sell me more time at a cost of a few more thousand dollars in order to get what I'd originally paid for. I declined and left a review of Fit Responder.A while later, the owner (***) contacted me as he'd seen my review. He stated he wanted to make things right, but really just wanted me to remove my review. He stated he was concerned that it would hinder his business.... as it probably should if the owner chooses not to fix it. Even after discussing the issue with him, he did not follow through. He eventually refunded me what I'd paid... in an attempt to get me to remove the review, not because he wanted to make things right. When the review wasn't removed, he listed the business as closed, which it isn't. Since then, he's text me a few times with annoying gifs or immature messages.Business response

I hope the public can read my response and see you are the only person to leave us a poor review, as well as see the level of care I took to try to help you. ********, I spoke to you twice to see how we can make you a happy customer. You and I both know this was an impossible task. There was literally nothing I could do to please you. Despite the fact you completed our program, got the results you were looking for, rated us 10/10 every week during the program with our internal review system. You explained you felt like we did not teach you everything youd like to learn (despite having four months to ask any questions youd like).
I went through every effort I could to make things right with you including offering free extra time in the program and providing a refund which you requested. You were the one who said that a full refund would make things right in your mind and you would delete the review. Which you did not. You and I both know you handled this dishonestly. I also said you never had to delete the review and told you that you should only remove the review if you feel its fair and explicitly said This is not a bribe.
In regards to Yelp, I deleted it because I continued to receive calls asking about personal training in *********** which I do not provide anymore. In order to eliminate my business being tied to that location, I had to delete it off the platform. Feel free to check with Yelps policies but they have to tie a business to a physical location (and mine is not).
You and I had many texts back and fourth, and I sent only two after you didnt reply to re-spark the conversation. Me sending you a gif happens to be your latest complaint. And I appreciate you showing how frivolous the complaints are.
Im satisfied as a business owner that we did everything we could to make your experience right, and even refunded every *****. You only benefited from dealing with Fit Responder.
