In early September2021, I contacted Jeremy F******, owner of Performance Diesel, LLC, to purchase and have him install a rebuilt diesel engine with a 3-year warranty or 300,000 miles, into my truck. I paid him $9,000 to do this. He sent two of his employees to my house to install the engine. Soon after the installation, my truck started having the same problems as before the installation. Also, during the installation, his workers damaged a condenser on the air conditioning unit on my truck, which cost $400 for me to repair. I let Jeremy know about the repair and he said to send him the bill and he would reimburse me. I sent it to him. He didn’t reimburse me! Since late September 2021 through today, I have been trying to get Jeremy to replace my engine. He doesn’t answer my phone calls. He rarely responds to text messages. When he does respond, he tells he will take care of the engine and he keeps saying next week and it hasn’t happened. I did get advice from a lawyer and the law firm sent Jeremy a letter in January 2022, warning Jeremy to reimburse me the full amount of money that I paid for the engine or install another engine or I would pursue the matter further with a possible lawsuit. Jeremy contacted me soon after and said he would take care of it. He has not! Jeremy did send two of his employees to remove the first engine that they installed out of my truck. So now the engine is just setting next to my truck since January. I have saved all of the text messages that Jeremy and I have exchanged.
