I've had Everlights on my house for 5 or 6 years. When they work they are amazing. But unfortunately they just stop working correctly and lights go out which causes whole strands to stop working and then your house looks kind of idiotic. It's honestly kind of embarrassing to even turn them on. I've had the entire system re-installed with new lights and a new control box twice and when I went to try to turn them on this past week my control box was just dead. They expect you to just jump up on your roof and rewire your lights as if you were a master electrician to fix any problems like that's a normal thing that everyone knows how to do.I contacted Everlights CS and was told my control box was "old" and I could get a new one for $350 plus shipping (I live a couple of miles from their HQ) and it might work. But that wouldn't solve the issue that half of my lights won't even work even if I did have a control box that would allow me to turn them ***** other option was that I could get a discount on having them install a completely new system on my house for thousands and thousands of dollars, but they wouldn't be able to do that until after Christmas of course.There are a lot of options out there now for permanent lighting for your homes and I would recommend you steer clear of these guys. They don't stand by their product and don't seem to care too much if their customers waste money on something permanently installed on their homes that is useless.EverLights Response

Since you installed the system yourself, we understand that troubleshooting and repairs can be challenging, especially when it comes to electrical systems that are permanently affixed to your home.We also recognize that your system is now two generations outdated, which can sometimes lead to compatibility issues or difficulties in sourcing replacement parts. We regret that the options available for upgrading or replacing your control box dont fully resolve the issues youre facing with the lights themselves. While our DIY product comes with a one-year warranty, we understand that for long-term users like yourself, it can be disappointing when the product no longer functions as expected.We understand your frustration with the proposed solutions, and we want to make sure you know that were always looking for ways to improve the longevity and serviceability of our products. Although we are limited in the support we can provide for products outside of the warranty period, we would like to work with you to find a resolution. They temporarily fix things then after a few months they stop working. You submit the form to be contacted and are never contacted. Product and customer service are horrible. Would not ever recommend.EverLights Response

Terrible system, even worse customer service. We had to re-purchase multiple controllers, as the old system wasnt working properly. Most of the lights wouldnt turn on those that did were sporadic and not the correct patterns. Everlights sent me a legal agreement, asking me to sign to have service in that agreement, they prohibit any negative review. I took screenshots of the contract, refused to sign it, and not have a completely broken system. Unethical, unprofessional, unwilling to support their customers after selling an overpriced system that doesnt work.Review from JONATHAN J

Had consistent problems with the company/their contractor. Had lights installed 18 months ago. Multiple issues. Contractor came out one time during warranty despite multiple calls within this time frame. Company did little to help kept referring back to installer. Their website has no where to post reviews, so the reviews they display are cherry picked from the best of the best. Not an honest company.EverLights Response

Hi ********, I'm sorry you're frustrated. Looks like we were working with you back in September 2023. If you had an issue with your product you should contact the company who installed it to get it fixed. If you'd like us to come and fix it there is a fee because we did not handle the initial installation. Feel free to call/text/email us and we'd be happy to get you repaired!Review from Jason A

Complete waste of money! I spent $10K to have my house wrapped and they are dead and worthless when they dont work! I signed their 8 page contract to get it repaired and its been weeks and I have no scheduled date. How could any business owner operate like this? I have had mine for 18 months and it has gone out multiple times and the wait time to repair is weeks!EverLights Response

The EverLights product and service are deplorable. We started having lights go out within the first year and then after the 1 year, we had to have several technicians out to fix multiple problems including lights that don't turn off, lights that don't illuminate correctly. The customer service does not care about helping resolve issues. I strongly suggest that if you're considering buying EverLights, do not. They are a waste of time and money.EverLights Response

We are sorry you feel that way. We coordinated a time that worked with your schedule to come to your home. We gave you a notification the day of that we were on our way. When the tech arrived on your door within 20 minutes you refused to open the door to allow him to service your product. You proceeded to verbally assault our staff and were kindly asked to de-escalate. Your attack involved belligerently throwing curse words at our staff. We instructed our staff to leave your home and you were told we are not going to put our staff in potential harm's way. If you change your mind we would serve you.Customer Response

For anyone reviewing this, please note the lack of customer service below. To clarify from my position, I confirmed that the tech could come on 1/5 but no timelines were given on when the tech would arrive; additionally, there was no confirmation that 1/5 was even accepted by EverLights. I work at home and I was in the middle of several meetings that I could not step away from. Yes, I received a call from the tech 20 minutes before he showed up that I could not answer and he left no voicemail nor a text message so a guy shows up with short notice and I could not step away from my meetings. Had I had even an hour's notice, I could have rearranged my schedule to ensure I could have answered my door. I was not throwing curse words at their staff, only trying to get my dog to be quiet while I was on my calls. For anyone reading this, please note adverserial climate that EverLights incites. Please, if you're considering EverLights, do your due diligence, look into all available options as these lights have not worked for us consistently. When they did work after getting a tech out, they looked great and we loved them, but we have been discouraged from using them as they would repeatedly stop working or lights would become discolored, or whole strands would stop working. We were told to follow the same steps to troubleshoot them ourselves which never worked and only by paying the $50 fee to have a tech out was the only way to get them to work. We had Everlights out at least 4 times to correct the issues and it only took 6-8 weeks for something else to go wrong. This product is not worth the cost, and I'm extremely dissatisfied as a customer. My hope is that you will reconsider going with EverLights so you don't have to deal with the same issues we have had to deal with.Review from Colleen W

I've had my lights less than 2 yrs. They have malfunctioned 4 times. Now I'm out of the labor warranty period and had to pay a $50 labor fee. I would advise going with the other company. For as much as I paid for these lights it's rediculous.
