On my way home from the dealership after buying this car the check engine light came on so brought it in to the dealer and they said it was a emissions code and there was a faulty valve. I thought it was funny because I just bought the vehicle and they said it passed emissions and gave me the paperwork for it. Then they said they replaced the valve and the check engine light came back on again so I took it in yet again then they said they replaced another valve for the emissions code. And after that the check engine light came on yet once again. So i took it into a mechanic shop where they told me that this car never should have passed emissions because it had a hole in the exhaust hose and a faulty valve ( which the dealership said they replaced) . The dealership flat out lied on the emissions and gave me fraudulent emissions paperwork saying it past. There is absolutely no way that this vehicle would have passed emissions before selling it. The dealership stating that they did work on the car but yet never even did anything to repair it. this vehicle was sold to me under fraudulent circumstances and information and was fraudulently past for missions testing.

I purchases a vehicle from them 02/11/24. Drove the vehicle approximately 136 miles on 02/12/24 got the vehicle to my home and the vehicle would not start again. I called the dealership and they said well you bought it as is there is nothing we can do. The following day I decided I would try again to start it and the key fob would not unlock the vehicle. So I try to manually unlock it to find out the key is a blank. I can not even get into the vehicle now.

I am sorry to hear that the customer had problems with the used vehicle they purchased.  The vehicle had been previously reconditioned in our shop, mechanic test driven, and quality control checked prior to making available for sale.  The customer did test drive the vehicle before purchase on a separate day, as well as drive it to Price, 130+ miles away, the day of purchase. We had not had any prior problems with the security system.  Used vehicles can be tricky and can break down without advance warning. This vehicle was purchased AS IS.  We are trying to help resolve the problem.

It sounds like the security system was engaged and the remote quit working.  We did make arrangements for the vehicle to be towed back to our facility at our expense.  We also had a locksmith come out and cut the door key that is inside the remote.  The remote is not working and needs to be replaced;we have the locksmith coming back out to replace it and to also make a spare set of remote and key for the customer.

We had put in a stock battery from the *** dealer a few months ago, the battery is not reading full. The *** dealer is willing to look at and warranty the battery as soon as the car is able to start.  We are addressing the security system lock out first and are helping the customer even though it was purchased AS IS.  We are a reputable dealer and have years of good customer service.

I bought a 2008 Dodge Magnum, drove it for a month or so and the engine started to overheat. I trailered the car to their repair shop and it took them weeks/months to fix the car, they ended up replacing the engine with a used motor from a wrecking yard. I got the car back and drove it for a couple of weeks and it started to overheat again. I then called them back and told them it was having the same issue as before. They had a tow company pick up the car and then they kept the car and reported it to my credit as a repossession. Now I am out of the car, all the monthly payments I made towards the car and now I have a negative **** on my credit.

The customer bought his used vehicle in March 2023, the vehicle overheated 3 wks after purchase and needed a motor. We replaced at no charge   Goodwill to the customer. The repair took 2 weeks to order the engine from a 3rd party and get it installed. A month later the vehicle came back in with repair concerns. We replaced a coil and fixed a vacuum leak at no charge. The customer was out of town and would not be back for a few weeks to get the vehicle. We also financed 4 new tires for the customer with no interest.
The customer fell behind on payments and complained that he had mechanical concerns. We told him to schedule it in with ************ and we would see if we could help with repairs. He never scheduled a repair appointment. We made several payment arrangements with the customer to bring the account current, but he failed to pay on the account. After the account had not been paid on for over 2 months and was in default, we finally had to issue it for repossession.
The customer does not qualify for another vehicle with us or a refund on the account he defaulted on. The account was defaulted for payment and is a valid repossession; it is reported correctly on his credit.
We are a reputable company that is here to help customers establish or re-establish their credit. We do report credit accurately. We help our customers with their used vehicle repairs and offer interest free financing for repairs if needed.

Bought a car from Menlove in March of 2020 with ******* miles on it Had the car for a week and it started stuttering and the contract states that I cant work on the car because It came with an engine and transmission warranty (****** miles) and my speedometer wasnt reading and neither was my gas gauge. So they fixed that apparently,But I looked at the odometer and the miles were different, So I took it in to their mechanic in salt lake and they looked at it and didnt do anything. So I took it back home and it started again (stuttering) and I noticed my rear defrosters werent working, and the window switches and was still dealing with the stutter. Took it back again and they fixed the mass airflow sensor and the throttle body and the switches. So I thought all was good and I put new tires on it and come to find out I had a cracked rim and the defrosters still werent working and my fog lights werent working and the window switches werent working. So they fixed all of those issues and ended up charging me 40 dollars which Im grateful for that. But when I went to pick it up it started stuttering once again, so I drove it to the shop and the mechanic swapped the ignition coil in a different spot and here we are now it starts again and Im to the point where I need to be put into a different vehicle because they sold me a lemon, and they are fighting with me and telling me that its a reliable car and that its not worth throwing it away for minor issues. This isnt close to being a reliable car, and they said if I dont want it Ill have to pay a ***** early contract term. Fee. Which I dont feel responsible to pay it because Ive been having these issues from the beginning. I left reviews on their pages on what I was experiencing and they took it as a threat and wouldnt agree to work on my car if I deleted them. So I did and took it to them yesterday (12-2-2021) and dropped it off because they agreed to Friday. I have more information to say but wont let m

I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with our service.  We are here to help our customers with transportation and give them the opportunity to establish or re-establish their credit while doing it.  With hopes that they can buy a New vehicle in the future.  The vehicle you leased from us is a 15 years old vehicle that was sold AS IS.  Used cars can be tricky and can break down without advance warning.  Great thing about us is we are here to help.  All of our vehicles do come with a 2 year ****** mile warranty that covers the engine and the transmission. Although any other repairs and regular maintenance are your responsibility, we did helped you with repairs that came up right after you purchased, at no charge to you.

You are welcome to repair your vehicle yourself or take it to any shop you prefer. The only repair work that must be done at our shop is warranty work, (ie. replacing the engine or transmission). All this is stated in the contracts that you signed. More than 6 months later when you started having problems with your vehicle again, we once again opened our shop to you and fixed your vehicle at no charge. The only charge to you at this point was $36 for a fog light and door switch. We only charged you for the parts, no labor. And financed the $36 (interest free)to be paid at a later date. I feel that we have gone beyond our obligation to help you and not charged you for repairs done on your vehicle.
