In Sept I contacted NB Plumbing to ask for a bid. I had to call three times to get an answer. Because I live in a remote location they charged me $200. to come out for the bid. We set up an appointment for Sept 14 between 2 and 5 pm and I paid the $200. They called 2 days before and asked if they could come between 10 am and 1 PM I told them "no." I would not be home from work at that time. They came in the 10 to 1 pm window against my wishes. I had called and asked for a bid on a walk-in tub and a wheelchair shower. I got back a one-line bid that said 28 hours x's $200= 5600.00 ( 2 techs plus parts and labor). It indicates that it doesn't include a tub that I am to provide it. When I called and made the appointment I was led to believe the bid would include a tub. Why would I pay $200. to then go to home depot and buy a tub? It also doesn't explain what is covered in the bid. For $5600.00 you would think they could spend a little time and give me the info I requested. I contacted them through email and text and said I wasn't happy with the lack of info on the bid. They refused to send me any more info. I put in a negative review on maps. They contacted me numerous times asking when they could start the work each time I told them I hadn't gotten a bid that explained what they were going to do. I have tried to stop the text I keep getting from them but they refuse to accept "no" for an answer. I tried to leave it alone. But they keep texting me, so now I am putting in this request to the BBB. I have reported the number as spam but apparently, they spoof other numbers from which to text because they come from many different numbers. The first thing I want is for them to stop harassing me, I don't want more texts or phone calls. I would like my $200 back as they didn't provide what I hired them to give me. Their communication is horrible. They don't keep their word. They charge for things and then don't follow thru. I requested a bid for a tub and didn't get one.
