We placed an order for a replacement part for a baby crib from Westwood Design (Westwood Baby, a part of Intercontinental) on November 22nd, of 2022. We were told by way of email communication that they did have the part at their warehouse ahead of placing the order. The item was purchased and paid for ($66.99) through their website. No shipping information was provided or order confirmation received. On or about January 3rd, I called to inquire about the status and was told the warehouse was backed and shipment of the item was expected to happen on January 9th. I was told I would receive an email when the shipment left the warehouse with tracking information; none of this happened. I sent an email to the employee, who had previously confirmed availability on January 18th, and received a same day response saying their warehouse was still backed up due to being thinly staffed. I was told they would check on the status and follow up. A follow up never happened. I reached out again on January 24th, for another update and was told the warehouse was still working to process. I followed up again on February 8th, for an update/ETA and have yet to receive a response.Business response

Good Afternoon,
We apologize for the late reply. After looking into this further, there was a significant delay in receiving the part ordered by the customer. The Customer should have been informed of this delay, however we was not after a few inquiries. We apologize for this, and will review our internal procedures to make sure it does not happen again.
The part was expedited today, and shipping Fed Ex, with the tracking number ************.
