Management at Towne Storage - Urban Edge has refused to respond to IPG Insurance for more than a year regarding our insurance claim arising from a theft at our storage locker. The background: We reported a theft at the unit we rented at Towne Storage Urban Edge, located at *** ** ***** ***. in Salt Lake City, to the Salt Lake City police in July 2020. We also reported our losses, totaling $1,500, to IPG Insurance, the insurance carrier selected by Towne Storage for the mandatory property insurance at all storage units. IPG requested information about the items stolen, the police report, and other documents. We provided everything requested by IPG Insurance and were told the company would pay our $1,500 claim as soon as they spoke with Towne Storage management. That was in August 2020. We've exchanged several follow-up emails with Alaina Noll at IPG Insurance since then and have been told IPG can't get in touch with anyone at Towne Storage. To date, we have not received our insurance settlement from IPG Insurance and have not heard from anyone at Towne Storage.
