I am the owner of a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee that recently underwent a complete engine replacement at Texan dodge The engine replacement was completed on October 17th 2024. However, on October 20th, my wife and I noticed that the check engine light illuminated when we started the vehicle. We promptly contacted your dealership and spoke to ***** in the service department.We were directed to bring the vehicle back to the dealership to investigate the check engine light issue. When we dropped off our vehicle, we spoke to ***** *******. She asked us to leave the vehicle and assured us that the service technicians would investigate the cause of the check engine light. She wasnt sure how long the issue would take, so she offered us a loaner vehicle and stated that there would be no charge for the loaner.Despite our anticipation to have our vehicle returned to us in optimal condition, we were shocked to learn that the release of our vehicle was contingent upon us paying a rental fee for the loaner vehicle. Additionally , we have already invested over $6500 for the initial engine replacement with the assurance from ***** that all components related to the engine would be addressed during the engine replacement. However, it now appears that additional charges are being assessed for work that should have been done during the engine replacement.Since Monday October 28 2024, I have been unable to reach ***** ******* to seek resolution of these matters. Unfortunately, my numerous messages have gone unanswered. Given my urgent need for transportation due to upcoming commitments including a funeral and medical appointments for my pregnant wife, we are anxious to have our vehicle repaired and returned promptly. Finally after speaking to the service manager Mr. ******* upon pick up of our vehicle we will have a clean vehicle along with a full tank of gas neither one was done. And now we our finding that Our vehicle body lines on the front end are not aligne.Review from Thomas M

I purchased a used car from Ken Garff ***** on July 22, 2024. I paid full price on that date and asked for the title. Garff said "your title documents will be processed ASAP and you'll receive your title in a few days". It's been over 3 1/2 mos and I still don't have a title. I've called and emailed them countless times, but they refuse to give me my title. I'm now forced to file a complaint with ********* and may have to sue them just to get my title. I believe they're illegally holding my title to use as collateral for their line of credit. They're assuming since I live out-of-state there's nothing I can do about it. Do NOT patronize this dishonest dealer who doesn't give a **** about their customers.Review from James I

I contacted the parts department at Big Star Chrysler Jeep Dodge in ******* ***** to get a ABS module for my vehicle. The regular price of the module at any Dodge/Jeep/******** dealership across the state is $288.00 but most dealerships are out of stock of this particular part and another dealership told me ******** in ******* had 40 in stock. Parts person said they had them but the price would $576.00; twice the price as normal. ******** is price gouging this limited stock item on the market and taking advantage of their customers.Review from Tyler M

Unresponsive, unable to get parts. Have to call constantly to get an update. Why take an appointment if you aren't going to have the parts ready? Even further, why not update your customer when a vehicle has sat there for over 6 months?When I called to further inquire STILL no answer. I had to threaten a lawyer over email to get a call back at all. At which point I was told "they can't get the parts, I don't know what you want me to do!" And then told I could come get my vehicle (no airbags due to recall) whenever. I said absolutely not, you'll drop it in my driveway "not sure we have your address"Overall negligence and not a professional environment. Don't go here.Review from Paula S

Buyer Beware ** *********** life lessons I will share with you I bought a ***** captiva sport in May of 2020 just the start of Covid pandemic. I bought it used as is that is why I bought extended service warranty. May of 2024 my warranty ran out.October 2024, I just recently came from the mechanics at **** Brother's my check engine soon light came on code P0017, P0016 First time from **** Brother's informed me about ** b These are warnings below a recall. They vehicle for codes above service bulletin on 9/2014 and again 2/2019, from manufacture,The vehicle went unchecked never fixed.I spent in total around *****. I went back asked what can you do for me I feel lied deceived about the ** bulletin What i know now make sure you ask *** ***** about. ** bulletin buyer beware.All I was offered was we can buy it back for $100. The manufacture and Ken Garff dropped the Ball I never would of bought the lemon. I purchased the car 1 year after the last ** Bulletin was issued. Shame on Ken Garff the dealer I just went to ,said they don't sell cars with ** Bulletin.The car has been scraped costly engine repair! I will never shop Ken Garff in my day they back up ever car they sell. Times have changed!Review from Kathleen E

I recently used the Ken Garff ******************* They correctly identified and fixed the main issue that I had. Unfortunately, they then suggested about $2K of repairs that were unnecessary. An example is that they recommended a transmission service. That service had been completed less than 6 months and 6000 miles previously. They were either incompetent (making service recommendations solely on mileage) or deceitful. I talked to my trusted mechanic from the place that I had moved from and he confirmed that all of the additional recommendations were unnecessary. I will not be not be using this company again.Review from Vickie P

Price overage on new MaverickOn September 21, 2022, I ordered a Maverick pickup as a gift for my husband. I worked with ****** through the ordering process. We did not get the pickup until February 1, 2024. We were assured by the people we worked with at ***** that the purchase price of $27,680 would be honored when we picked it up. We worked with **** when we picked it up, he did a great job going over everything on the truck before sending us in to sign paperwork. Again, we took our purchase agreement with us stating that the purchase price was $27,680. At this time, we were told we would need to write the check for the new price of $30,780 and we would get a check back from **** for difference of $3100. I mistakenly trusted Deweys word and wrote the check. We were told by both the finance person and **** that it would take about 6 weeks to get the $3100 check. At this time, we were also told if we DIDNT have it back within 6 weeks to let them know and they would address it. Six weeks went by and we had not gotten the check back so my husband called and was told someone would check into it and get back to him. No one got back to him. Over the course of the past six months, my husband and/or myself have stopped out or called no less than 6 times and talked to 4 different people who either promised to check into it or told us the check should be coming in the next couple weeks. My husband took the Maverick to ***** for an oil change on 7/29/24 and to once again inquire about the $3100. In so many words, he was told it wasnt Deweys problem and wed need to handle it with ******************. After 6 months of working with multiple employees at ******************* and now its not THEIR problem! Have tried repeatedly to resolve with the ** **** *****..dont bother wasting your time.Review from Andy B

It was an amazing buying experience. My salesperson, ****** *******, was absolutely wonderful. I was not sure exactly what I wanted and he helped me see multiple different vehicles and trim styles until I found my perfect car. The finance person was also great with no pressure. Their pricing was transparent and I feel like I left with a fair price.Review from Dennis H

Honda show focus on quantity not quality. The dealership is very focused on making money and not holding up to a simple value. ***************** Service manager **** pill very disrespectful. He trys to make you believe something that is not true.I have spoken with with the owner of Long Beach Honda. Yes he did apologize for his staffs unappreciate behavior. Me and my wife feel very disrespected. I have been a long supporter of Honda. This will definitely change. Respect goes a long way!Review from Kyle S

Not a very honest business. I would highly recommend taking your vehicle, or buying one literally anywhere else.
