******* ******* (my wife) and I moved our horse **** to Stabile Di Cavallo LLC on 10/1/2022. We met on 9/25/2022 to have a meet and greet with Elaine(the owner of the facility). My wife was very upfront that she rides a different style than this facility and we were told this was "not a problem" by Elaine. Elaine informed us that a contract would be typed up but we could move the horse in on 10/1/2022 and the board was done on at the beginning of each month. Elaine however never had us sign a contract nor tell us the cameras in the facility have audio. ******* was upfront with Elaine about having a friend come there to perform Magnawave Therapy and watch her ride. Elaine sent my wife my videos via the cameras accusing her of having a lesson. She refused to listen to reasoning nor acknowledge the cameras with audio being illegal in Virginia. We moved **** on 11/7/2022 but she only allowed us to move him peacefully after mentioning the cameras with audio. We were upfront with our intentions but were never provided a list of rules either. Other people had reached out to us about her after we left. She never had them sign a contract either after saying she would write one out. They did not provide rules and they were unaware of the cameras with audio at the facility. She continued to harass my wife via texts and even called her an "entitled narcissistic" when we were having a civil conversation. We have requested that she no longer contact us but are fearful of others that might pay to board there. As this is an animal facility.
