Upper Bay: Franky M. Quality Inspection by: E. *** C****** Make and Model: ******** **** ****** 2011 Mileage: 60,934 Last Service: Jiffy Lube in Vienna VA (Location ****) Date: 12/5/2021 Mileage: 56117 Dame to oil pan near drain plug. My mom went in for an oil change last week and when she was driving home her car started smoking and there was puddles of oil leaking all under her car. She was told that the person who worked on her car forgot to put the cap on or tighten the cap. When she finally got a manager to contact her they said sorry and that they will do training to make sure it doesn't happen. No offer to refund her or anything. We then asked him to pay for the wash of the underside and refund her oil change since she now lost all the oil that was originally put in the car. He didn't want to refund the money only stated that he apologized and will pay for her next oil change. We told him that she was not going there again as they risked her life as she is elderly and disabled and if the car had caught fire she would not have been able to escape timely. And the manager refused to refund her oil change. He said that it could've been worse so he did not think a refund was necessary. I don't believe the best thing to say to a customer that your workers botched a job on, is that it could've been worse. I have been a customer at this location for over 3 years and have recommended multiple ppl to but I WILL NEVER step foot in this location again if this is how they handle their mistakes and just plain oversights.
