Purchased my bay window back in 2022 and that window started to leak. Window World has to order another window for me. They said the window was made wrong by manufacturer. Order another window and that window started to leak where we have mold in on corner of the window. Now the linkage on the window has broken. Window World told me this model bay window was disconnected. Meanwhile window still leaking when it rains. Window World came out and did some work to roof work to the top and it's still leaking. So they told the bay window will probably need to be replaced with a newer model. Mean while this has been going on since 2023. It's been about a year and a half now. We need to get the **** out to look at it and say they will take care of it. Window World wants to make sure they get there money, but they've had my $4,000 for a year now. I want them to order it now so we don't have to wait any longer. They say they can't until **** looks at. It he can't get here until October now and they order the window, we are looking at around Christmas before we may be getting it put in. I have had several people from the company out, but that's it , no follow up afterwards nothing. Al I get is we'll take care of it. No offer of compensation, nothing. Just you will need to wait. Can't get managers to call. A year and a half is way too long to be waiting to get this fixed. I have been patient this long, but it's ran out. Great experience from start to finish with Window World (Chantilly, **) Our sales person, *****, did a great job by providing all the details we need to replace our windows and also to upgrade the exterior of our house. Installation team showed up within the promised timelines , ****** and his team did an excellent job. We were pleasantly surprised with their amazing craftsman, ******'s entire team worked hard to finish our project on time and delivered excellent results. We are very happy with our new windows and can't ask for a better experience. I would highly recommend Window World of *************.Review from Stefan W

Scheduled to have my windows installed and they mismeasured. Told me they’re rush ordering the new correct windows, only to find out the rush order is taking just as long as the normal shipping…or the rush was denied. Had to call to get this info and the woman on the phone was omega rude and unconcerned. Y’all made an error and the least you can do is stick to your word of rush ordering it, and maybe not be rude to your paying customer on the phone? You can’t brag about your highly rated company and BBB rating while having god awful customer service. My experience has been anything but good.Review from Daniel R

Lead times were not met. Once the windows were finally in the branch manager Angel threatened me. The regional manager Eric tried to fix things by lying and saying another branch would install the windows. Angel again called to schedule. Eric then said all communication would go through him. That was another lie when Angel and Caprice kept calling. Eric refuses to let you speak to franchise owner. I am not comfortable having someone in my house installing who has used the threat of violence to get the job done. Both Eric and Angel have lied about the items on the contract. I have followed the contract by submitting a claim in the Fairfax county court system. Fairfax will not hear the case because I am a WV resident. All emails, calls and voicemails are available to be shared.Review from Munir K

They have worst after sale service, installed damaged window 14 months ago , submitted many complaints but no response. i wish i knew them before. dont waste your time. pay little extra and hire a reputable firm. was told to help local small business but they are crooks , liar, and thieves . stay away from WINDOWS WORLD.Review from Darhlene B

I am totally dissatisfied with my window purchase. I decide to change all the windows in the front of the house upstairs and down that were more energy efficient. These windows are supposed to be Low - E, Argon gas filled, double hung, foam enhanced. My pre existing window I downstairs were just double pane thermal so I thought getting argon has ,low e thermD would help energy cost. I feel more air in my bedroom windows and absu window that I ever felt before. My upstairs windows were nothing wrong I wanted new fromt facing windows . Heat rises and my bedroom was warm even on single digit nights like we had a month ago. Now with the new installed window world windows , I have been I'll with constant air coming from the windows. The general manager camenout to check andsaid the window are the temperature of the wall. If you see air blowing your curtain call me back. Well he didn't come during the night when the temperature decreases. Air blows my curtain, on my head and I gotten ill die to this mess of a purchase. I am totally dissatisfied with the outcome which makes me regret changing the windows because my home was warmer before I had these windows installed , now it feels like the outdoors is inside my home. My downstairs is so cold we stay upstairs now because the bay window doesn't feel insulated at all. I do not recommend this company and my next action is to seek legal action.Review from Mark M

Ten-months for warranty service; ineffective customer service Over an 8-month period, Window World of DC, based in Chantilly, VA, did not honor its Lifetime Warranty on a defective seal in a picture window in our home. The company promised repeatedly to order a new window but never did so, and almost always neglected to reply to over one hundred phone and email inquiries. After 8 months, we filed a complaint with our local county Office of Consumer Protection for arbitration. Two months later, Window World finally installed a replacement window and the matter was resolved.Review from David Y

They price and the initial work was good, but they offered a guarantee which they don't honor. Over time a few of the windows had the braking mechanism break. I've called 3 or 4 times to have them replaced, but no call was ever answered and no message was ever returned. The simple truth is that they make money on replacing all the windows in your house, but fixing one or two windows for free to honor a guarantee they lose money on so they simply ignore you. Effectively the guarantee is a lie to sell you the windows.Review from John R.

Signed 6000 dollar contract in March 2022, with promised install of 10 weeks. It's August 2, 2022 and we have yet to have the install. Meanwhile, ww has kept our 3000 dollar deposit. We have called and complained to no avail.
