Service Date:11/24/2021 Amount: $213.96 Sovah Health(SH) keeps sending a billing statement regarding the above service date without filing it with my insurance company telling me that no insurance is on file. However, I have insurance on file, and SH didn't have any problem collecting from my insurance company for services for other dates. When SH sent me the first statement regarding the service in July 2022, it was the first time I found out that the bill ever existed. I believe my primary physician sent blood samples to the hospital, and this is about that. I called the number and provided insurance information even though I was wondering how SH was able to collect bills for all other services if no insurance was on file. Now SH sent me the same statement and harassing me to pay this bill. I think it is SH's negligence. SH should file claims with my insurance company first and then bill me. I am providing the claims SH filled to my insurance company and the billing statement. that states claiming no insurance on file. I don't want to be harassed with them not doing their job accordingly. As you see SoVAH Claim(attachment), my insurance paid them in full.Business response

There has been a challenge with the patient’s health insurance verifying that they have active coverage. Statements were sent to the patient because they were showing as uninsured. I see on file that a conversation was held with the customer on 10/06/2022 3:57 pm with the business office, and it is being rebilled to the health insurance with updated information. Please allow time for processing.
