Ran my credit, dinged my credit without informing me only local banks participated - I then on my own received 100 percent funding from two banking institutions, which they rejected - but both institutions, I was told verbally and in their advertising they would accept. Then vehicle showed up the next day at a much higher price because they decided they wanted more money. Also, the miles advertised did not match the actual miles on the vehicle and when I called to try to talk to the owner the receptionist accidentally put me on speaker phone and the salesmen were all making fun of me (I am disabled). Additionally, the owner **** is unpatriotic and serves a majority of a community who spent their careers serving this country but does nothing to recognize this - veterans and active duty take your business elsewhere. This is not a matter of trying to buy a vehicle from out-of-state or not meeting expectations. This is clear deceit, dishonesty and discrimination and impoverished and ignorant business practices.

Yes. I live in ******** and the business is in Virginia. I need my credit report repaired after they fraudulently told me one of their banks could provide financing - the salesperson, in fact, lied knowing only in state residents were allowed to apply. The business also lied and said they would accept car loans by ******** on ************, when in fact, they are not using ******** at all. They then told me to get qualified at any other credit union for my car loan and they would accept it. I got pre-qualified for the total sun for the THIRD time. They, in fact, did reject yet my second full funding source according to their verbal and marketing instructions effectively destroying my credit by pinging it three times. After the deal was cancelled, the motor dealer listed the vehicle at a much higher price. They provided me with a bill of sale and I offered them two sources of solid funding that they rejected and then re-priced the vehicle out of greed. In trying to resolve the conflict I asked to speak to the owner - the receptionist did not mute the call in the transfer to have someone pick up and I heard a group of men making fun of me and mocking me about wanting to resolve this major deceit and in the process they also made fun of my disability (I am ADA). So not only did they ruin my credit by telling me I could only get financing if I was a ** resident, but they also declined selling to me and rejected the funding I did get so they could get more money for the vehicle - and mocked my disability. This business practices deceit, dishonesty and discrimination. I have also filed an ADA complaint against this business with DOJ.

My apologies for the delay in responding, I did not see the first notification.  While we did speak with this customer, little else is true of her complaint.  We ran her credit, with her consent, to try to get her approved for financing on a 2013 Toyota 4Runner.  We do in fact work with ******** as a lender but their approval is not guaranteed.  They approved her on conditional terms, a shorter term and therefore higher payment.  The financing this customer acquired on her own required that we sign the title of the vehicle over to a credit union in ******** before we received funding.  This is an unusual stipulation of a lender and we will not sign over a title to a vehicle before being paid for the vehicle.  The advertisement for this vehicle includes a photo of the odometer (see attached) which matches the actual miles of the vehicle (see attached Decision Details from ********).  Ms. *********** claim that we then relisted the same vehicle at a higher price is also untrue as we sold that vehicle on Sept. 12 for less than the price she was approved for.  After the deal fell apart, Ms. ********* then became belligerent and has called our dealership multiple times cussing out multiple members of my staff to the point that we have had to block her number.  Her claims that **** is unpatriotic are unfounded and categorically untrue.  She was never ridiculed for a disability or for any other reason.  Our dealership has successfully worked with many active-duty, veterans and disabled persons with no incident.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I received notice from their “100 percent” approved lender and was told I was not eligible because I was not a local resident, something the salesperson ****, did not tell me was a requirement. If the business was willing to use ********, I was ready. They just didn’t want to pay the high fees on their end. it is a lie that the vehicle was not listed after the deal fell apart at a higher price - it was - when I put it into a complaint they again lowered the price. The salespeople were clearly heard mocking me as their receptionist is as unprofessional as the business and I was on speakerphone holding to speak with someone accountable. Businesses that serve military, USG and veteran communities usually offer special services or discounts. This business has no practice of that and it is deplorable how they treat clientele who have done decades of public service and are disabled. I told the business I was disabled and needed extra communication and asked if any of their staff has had ADA training in dealing with customers and ADA federal law. None of them - including the owners - had any idea what I was talking about. The only times I called back was to try to get the business to call the credit bureaus to remove this hard credit pull from my history from their business as I was duped to believe financing was assured if I was already pre-qualified with other banks. in regards to the request for sending a copy of the title to my credit union before they were issued a check, no other professional businesses that don’t have charlatans and murky business practitioners at the helm had any problems with this - I purchased a Toyota from a dealer several days later and it was a non-issue. Plain and simple - they wanted to make more money on the vehicle, are lazy, are not educated in their jobs and do not communicate clearly to customers, they mock disabled people and offer no support to them or defenders of their country. BLUF: I want that hard credit pull from their mockery of a business removed from my credit report. I asked them to do this several times through the receptionist, through texts, through calls and they refuse and have no reason as to why they won’t do this. I am trying to buy a house and the hard credit pull was extremely damaging - because there was no sale and they rejected my other two offers of financing (no haggling on the price) - and because of their horrible treatment and unethical business practices - I want this business to remove their hard credit pull from all three credit bureaus. Now. I have also filed an ADA complaint with the DOJ for their discriminatory treatment. Thank you all for your time and I hope to see this resolved today.  Regards, ******** *********

It is not possible to pull a hard credit inquiry from a credit report.  The customer consented to a credit inquiry during the loan application process to purchase the vehicle.  As per ******** and ****** (articles attached), hard credit inquiries cannot be removed unless it was found to be fraudulent. In this case the credit inquiry clearly was approved by the customer as she even states herself.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. It is 100 percent possible to retract a hard credit pull from your business and the credit bureaus. And I only consented because I was lied to / given erroneous information about your creditors and financing. Any business or organization can correct a hard credit pull from the credit bureaus. This is just another example of this business not being educated in the affairs of their industry and continuing to cause problems for individuals. The BBB needs to review the hundreds of customers reviews and complaints on the internet about this business - they practice deceit, discrimination and blatant disregard for business ethics and business etiquette and are unschooled in financing, credit, ADA law and dealing with customers and are unscrupulous managers out to cause harm. I want the hard credit pull reversed from all three bureaus. Quit stalling and making excuses for not educating your salespeople.  Regards, ******** *********
