      I contacted BRS in March 2022 regarding landscaping services. We had our consultation and I signed a contract in May 2022 to receive a landscaping design and then start a landscaping project. The project was to start end of Summer or first part of Fall 2022. I contacted the owner Brett about 4 times between Spring and Fall regarding the project via text, email, voicemail to confirm that the design was still coming and the project was still going to start on time. I was able to talk to him around Oct/Nov 2022. I got an update that the project was delayed due to difficulty getting materials and employees. However, he stated he would have the design to us the following week and would plan to do the project over the winter. He did not deliver the design the following week and we did not hear from him regarding the project start date. At the end of Dec, we decided to cancel the project and asked for a refund. He apologized for not being able to do the project (he has always been kind even though he has never been transparent). I asked him to refund me by 1/20/23. When the refund did not arrive, I gave him a couple more weeks and then contacted him 2/1/23. He said he was completing taxes and final refunds that week. It is now 2/24/23 and I have still not received a refund. Therefore, I would like BBB to help with getting the refund.

      Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
