  This company provided a service to cut down eight trees on my property located near Spotsylvania VA on Dec 6 2021. They left large trees longer than 8 foot in my neighbor's property. They attempted to charge an additional $****** to move these trees on to my property. This company had the duty of leaving materials on my property and at least cutting up these trees in manageable pieces. Most trees fell outside of my property border and should have never been dropped so far from my property line. This company was shown the property lines and still left without moving these items. This contractor violated my HOA agreement as well. The work was not neat as well.

  Everything within the contract was completed. That was to cut and drop the trees where they were cut down. The price didn't included the removal of any of the trees. To remove the trees there will be an additional cost.

  I ****** *******, request that my complaint is reopened. I filed my complaint on 12/8/2021. The company filed their response February 16 2022. I stated:

  1. This company provided a service to cut down eight trees on my property located near Spotsylvania VA on Dec 6 2021.
  2. *They left large trees longer than 8 foot in my neighbor's property.
  3. They attempted to charge an additional $****** to move these trees on to my property. 
  4. *This company had the duty of leaving materials on my property and at least cutting up these trees in manageable pieces. Most trees fell outside of my property border and should have never been dropped so far from my property line.
  5. This company was shown the property lines and still left without moving these items. This contractor violated my HOA agreement as well. The work was not neat as well. The clean up took weeks to complete with a contractor.
  6. On December 6 2021 this contractor was very rude and attempted to justify the reason he over charged me for two additional trees. This contractor cut down the wrong trees which belonged to my neighbor. (SEE ATTACHMENTS). I identified my trees as to having a bright pink ribbon and my neighbor’s tress having an orange ribbon.

  REBUTTAL 2/25/2022

   

  1. This company failed to address my issues one through six.
  2. They left wood well outside the limits of my property.
  3. This company did messy work. All tall, well established trees were dropped a great distance from my property limits. Most trees rested in my neighbor’s property or the street.  
  4. They cut down trees which did not belong to me and billed me for this work.
  5. This company failed to return to move the fallen trees on to my property after many attempts.
  6. This company failed to rebut these issues and has been reliant on their contract. There was no mention that this contractor would leave material generated from my property on another’s.
