      About 3 months ago I took my car to get new struts and shocks and they ended up putting on bad ones so I took it back to get fixed because they said it had a warranty on it. I took it back 3 times and they never fixed it. I drove my car back to them over 3 weeks ago to check a leak and to fix the struts and shocks. I called today and the owner said he wasn't fixing the shocks and struts and said my car won't move because it needs a new engine but I drove the car to him with no problems except for the leak. It doesn't add up. I would like my $600 dollars back from my shocks and struts also to repair my engine back out give me the money to repair my engine back because it was drivable when I dropped it off now it's not. I would like to get reimbursed.

      THE CUSTOMER BROUGHT HIS VEHICLE IN DUE TO OVERHEATING ISSUES, HE DROVE IT FOR 4 DAYS AFTER HE CALLED ABOUT IT OVERHEATING.  HE STATED WE HAD PUT HEAD GASKETS ON HIS ENGINE AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS YEAR, BUT WE DID NOT.  WE HAD REPLACED HIS TRANSMISSION.  HE HAD A FREEZE PLUG BLOW, A WATER PUMP LEAK, AND A COOLANT PIPE LEAK UNDER THE BOTTOM OF THE WATER PUMP, AND WE BELIEVE THE HEAD GASKET IS BLOWN, BUT THE ONLY WAY TO VERIFY THAT IS TO DO ABOUT 500.00 WORTH OF REPAIRS JUST TO SEAL THE SYSTEM, TO CHECK IF THE HEAD GASKET IS BLOWN.  WE DID PUT NEW STRUT/SPRING ASSEMBLIES ON THE FRONT, AND THEY WERE BAD FROM **** ****, AND HAVE THE REPLACEMENTS HERE IN THE OFFICE, AS THEY ARE REPLACING THEM UNDER WARRANTY, I JUST TOLD HIM WE WOULD PUT THEM ON AT THE SAME TIME WE DID THE WORK TO THE ENGINE, WHEN HE DECIDED WHAT HE WANTED DONE.  WE HAVE ALL HIS SERVICE RECORDS DATING BACK TO 2017, AND HE HAS MAINTAINED HIS VEHICLE WELL, BUT RUNNING IT HOT WITH THESE THREE LEAKS, WE JUST CAN'T JUSTIFY REPAIRING IT TO THE POINT OF DETERMINING THAT HE HAS BLOWN THE HEAD GASKETS.  WE HAVE GIVEN HIM A PRICE FOR A USED ENGINE, INSTALLED, AND HE SAID HE WOULD GET BACK TO US TODAY, AND INSTEAD, WE GET THIS COMPLAINT.

      I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  I drove my car to Austin's Auto for the fourth time to get my struts and shocks done over for the fourth time. I drove it in their but now the car doesn't drive at all it needs a new motor but didn't need it at first. I was told by the owner if I didn't buy a new motor from him he wasn't going to fix my struts and shocks. The motor cost the same price as how many times they had to do my struts and shocks over. So because I kept getting him to do the work over that he kept messing up on he decided to dump my whole car and mess up my motor and I would like them to replace my motor with a new one.

      THE CUSTOMER DROVE HIS VEHICLE WITH A LEAKING FREEZE PLUG, A LEAKING WATER PUMP, AND ANOTHER COOLANT LEAK.  HE DESTROYED HIS ENGINE.  WE REPLACED HI FRONT STRUTS/SPRING ASSEMBLIES UNDER WARRANTY THROUGH **** ****, THEY PAID FOR THE REPLACEMENTS, AND OUR LABOR TO PUT THEM IN. THEN HE HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO ANOTHER SHOP.  END OF STORY.  WE DID VALVE COVER GASKETS, AS THE BILLS UPLOADED IN THE LAST COMPLAINT SHOWED, FOR HIS THEN OIL LEAK, WHILE HE THOUGHT MISTAKENLY WE HAD DONE HEAD GASKETS.

      10/23/2020 WAS THE PURCHASE DATE,2003 MITSUBSHI ECLIPES PRICE$4600.00 ,$600.00 WAS PAID DOWN, 300.00 A MONTH. .PAYMENT WAS MADE (I HAVE RECEIPTS) ,COVID HIT AND I HAD NO WORK. TALKED TO ***** AND EXPLAINED. TRIED SEVERAL TIMES FROM JAN 2022 TO PRESENT TO REACH ***** AABOUT FINSIH PAYING FOR THE CAR.EVERYTIME I CALLED I COULD HEAR HIM TALKING IN THE BACKGROUND BUT ONE OF HIS STAFF WOULD SAY HE WAS NOT IN. I HAD MY MOTHER TRY AND CALL AND SHE DID REACH HIM IN JULY2022.HE TOLD HER I OWED $400 ON THE CAR. SHE TOLD HIM I WOULD BE DOWN THE FIRST OF THE WEEK TO PAY IT OFF AND PICK IT UP. HE TOLD HER NO THAT 1300 WAS OWED BECAUSE HE HAD PICKED UP THE CAR,SO THEIR WAS A TOWING FEE. SHE CALLED BACK AND HE TOLD HER THAT HE WANTED 1600 BECAUSE HE HAD FIXED EVERYTHING THAT WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR (HE TOLD ME HE WOULD DO THAT WHEN I BOUGHT IT,NEVER DID ) AND NOW I OWED 1600. NO ONE TOLD HIMM TO DO THAT HE TOOK IT UPON HIM SELF. . I HAVE TRIED SINCE OCTOBER TO REACH HIM, TO FIND OUT WHAT I NEEDED TO DO OR SEE IF WE COULD WORK OUT SOMETHING TO GET MY CAR BACK. ***** REFUSED TO TALK TO ME AND HE SOLD THE CAR LAST WEEK WEEK. HE OWES ME THE MONEY I HAVE PAID ON THIS CAR CAUSE HE HAS NOT TRIED TO WORK WITH ME OR BEEN ABLE TO BE REACHED TO DISCUSS ANY SOULTIONS. HE SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PROFFIT FROM ME PAYING ALL THAT MONEY AND SALEING THE CAR AND AND MAKING MORE. THAT CAR WAS IN MY NAME,I HAD INSURANCE ON IT. HE OWED ME THAT MONEY..       DON'T YOU LOVE WHEN SOMEONE OWES FOR SOMETHING AND IT IS YOUR FAULT WHY THEY DONT PAY!!!AS YOU CAN SEE BY ATTACHMENT #1 WE REPAIRED THIS VEHICLE WHEN HE WAS IN AN ACCIDENT.ATTACHMENT # 2 IS WHEN HIS ALTERNATOR WENT OUT AND WE HAD TO ADD IT TO THE FINANCING OF THE VEHICLE,ATTACHMENT #3 IS AFTER WE REPOSSESED THE VEHICLE AFTER 4 MONTHS OF NON-PAYMENT, AND NO CONTACT, AFTER HE PUT 23,777 MILES ON THE VEHICLE WITHOUT AN IOTA OF MAINTENANCE.THE ITEMS WE HAD TO DO, WERE IN ORDER FOR IT TO PASS STATE INSPECTION BEFORE WE COULD RESELL IT.FINALLY, NO ATTEMPTS WERE EVER MADE BY ***** TO CALL ME, AS THE PHONES HAVE BEEN FORWARDED TO MY PERSONAL PHONE FOR OVER A YEAR, AND I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO ANSWERS MY PHONE, WHICH I HAPPEN TO DO 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK.YES, I TALKED WITH HIS MOTHER AND HER THREATS, 6 MONTHS AFTER WE REPOSSESSED THE VEHICLE, AFTER WHICH TIME THEY NO LONGER HAD A CLAIM TO SAID VEHICLE.  IT IS STILL RIGHT HERE ON MY LOT TODAY AS I WRITE THIS RESPONSE.

      I buying a car from Austin Auto Service. I stated the lease in January of 2021, and they still have not gotten me a title or willing to figure out a plan to get me a title. The law states they have 30 days to get me a title. Everytime I bring up the title the owner Keith always has a new story of some outrageous scenario that never happens... Keith lost is licence to sell cars after he moved and now his son under ***** ****** is dealing with it and it's been over a month again. I keep getting pulled over by police because they say the temp tags I keep getting are unlawful. The law allows me to return the car and get a full refund for all money I have paid towards the car including interest. Which amounts to about $4500. This is what I want furthermore, we have been dropped from 3 insurance companies because of the registration issues. Instead of having cheap insurance I need to get high risk insurance because of the situation which is very costly. Please note that payment plan says we pay 225.00 a month however we paid 250. 95% of the time. To the point he expected 250 and questioned us when we didn't pay him 250. I do have documentation and bank statements to show payments

      Had a title and customer took to the DMV and the DMV told consumer not the right previous owners.  DMV is investigating the title, having trouble tracking down the previous owners.
