  My husband and I spoke with the owner of Landscape Concepts of VA about installing a pool in our backyard since that's what he was advertising on ******** Marketplace. He said he had a pool business along with the Landscaping business. His pool business is called Leisure Poolz. After meeting him and giving us a free estimate for a 16x35 Sumitt Fiberglass pool with cover, we signed a contract to have work started. We signed the contract on 1/29/2021 with a start date of 3/22/2021. We also gave him a deposit of $26, ****** so he could order parts and the fiberglass form needed before our job could be started. After many months of waiting and not having ANY work started at all we asked for a refund since he was in breach of the contract we signed. He agreed to give us our $26, ****** back on 6/21/2021. Work was suppose to start in March and after waiting an additional 3 months with non stop excuses and phone calls as to why he couldn't start the work we were fed up and didn't want to deal with him any longer. After months of texts and emails and more excuses we finally received a check for $20,000 as a partial refund on 8/17/2021. Was then told the remainder of our refund was sent on 9/7/2021. We never received anymore payments, even with us in continued contact with ****************** and his staff. I filed paperwork with Chesterfield County Courthouse on 11/30/2021 for the remaining $6,447.00 we were still owed. A court date was set for 1/7/2022, NO SHOW from Mr. ******** ruled in my favor, stating he was ordered to pay the remaining amount. I had to track him down and inform him of the ruling since he wasn't present. Received a payment of $4,000.00 on 2/1/2022. We are still waiting for the last $2,447.00 we are owed. It has been over a year and a half of dealing with his excuses and stall tacits. I filed more paperwork at the Courthouse and will be going before a judge for the third time this month tiring to resolve this matter.

  At this time, I have not been contacted by Landscape Concepts of VA regarding complaint ID ********. I have not been contacted in regards to this complaint but I have taken my complaints to the Chesterfield County Court and the judge ruled in my favor saying the company must pay the remaining refund amount. Im still waiting on payment from Leisure Poolz. If payment is not made I will have to get a lawyer involved. This company is a scam and I hate knowing that Im not the only one they have stolen money from.
