August 5, 2021 I bought a 2008 ***** ** **** from Maurice M****: VCD Auto Group. M**** also sold me a *** Extended Warranty for $1395; the M**** *** sale was a 3rd party sale. I filed a BBB complaint against *** and was awarded the $1395 from ***. *** wrote to me in an email that *** sent the $1395 check to VCD. *** also reported VCD cashed the refund check February 3, 2022. *** explained to me VCD was to have sent the $1395 to me shortly after Feb 03. To date I have not received my refund. After many emails and phone calls VCD has not refunded the check sent to VCD from ***. The complaint is a request to have Maurice M**** , representing VCD Auto Group, to send to me as soon as possible, my refund check from/by *** Extended Warranty in the amount of &1395. *** paid the $1395 instead of helping me repair my car. Originally VCD & I thought my car was covered by ***. On January 6, 2022, I petitioned *** to replace my Hybrid Battery. After more than a month challenging ***, the “full refund” was agreed upon. M**** knowing all the details, according to ***, decided to cash the refund on Feb 3rd, and now, after many request, reluctantly says he plans to send paperwork to me to be completed this week in order for me to receive my refund. I only want the check in my hands without any more explanations from Maurice M****.
