I spoke with the office manager about a balance due on 11/09/2023. I paid the balance and they then sent the same balance to collections. The office staff is always rude and never able to answer questions over the phone because they are short staffed.Business response

We do apologize if the patient thought we were rude about the situation. The patient stated that the previous Office managers said that he did not have a balance. There were no notes to prove this. The patient also stated that he was going to forward an email from the previous OM, and as of today, he has yet to send. The patient did pay his estimated share of $509.20 for his visit. After insurance paid and was applied to his account, it left him with a $578.40 balance on his account. He was sent 6 statements, a past due letter and then 30 days from not hearing from the patient, he was sent to collections. The patient was very rude while talking on the phone trying to resolve the situation. He stated that the ********* office were fools and did not know what we were talking about, so he called another location. The patient was asked again to forward the email from the previous OM but continued to be rude. Finally, I explained to the patient, that due to our office not being able to meet his expectations, we would move forward with dismissal at this time and would be happy to forward his records to his new dentist of choice.
