This company which goes by many names and locations and phone numbers continues to mail us and we have contacted them by phone only because you cannot contact them by mail they have no return address on their envelopes. We want them to stop mailing us but they refuse. We are sending attachments you can see they have no return address, same company, different phone numbers and this has been going on for years, we call see names of people and dates we talk to this company. My husband and I are refinancing our mortgage with **** ******** for a lower interest rate. PHH is our second mortgage holder. So we need Subordination information from them to go forward with the mortgage process. **** ******** sent them a request the beginning of November and they have not heard back from PHH. So our loan officer asked us to contact PHH about the subordination maybe they will talk to us. My husband was on the phone with PHH for an hour Monday 12/6/21, being put on hold numerous times. We then spoke to a subordinate supervisor and we still do not have answers. The mans response was, I will put you on my calendar to call you on December 10th. We dont want a phone call. We need a letter and he said he cannot send a letter. We asked him to email it or send it overnight but no he could not do that. He needs until December 10th to find out about a letter. Is this how they run their business? We never can talk to someone that knows what they are doing. Why do they need an additional five days and they will call us back when all we need is a letter about the subordination. Then they will need another 30 days for the subordination office to approve the paperwork!! Keep in mind **** ******** emailed them the request the beginning of November and it is now December 7th. I told him you are holding up the process of our mortgage and we could lose the low interest rate we were quoted. At this rate it will be **** before we can close on our mortgage. Dealing with this company is so very frustrating. We never get a straight answer. They constantly put us on hold only to say they do not know the answer. It is very obvious they do not know what they are doing. Earlier this year we contacted PHH to lower our interest rate. Our second mortgage interest rate is *****%. We were told they cannot do that it is against their policy! How can they deny us a lower interest rate? We do not want additional money! Is this legal?
