Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, L.L.C. Response

Atlantic Bay has duly investigated the complaint. In March 2024, Mr. Crites initiated a mortgage loan application with Atlantic Bay for the purchase of a home and on May 2, 2024, the loan was closed and funded. Prior to closing, a Loan Estimate was provided on March 26, 2024, and April 8, 2024, indicating Atlantic Bay's intention to transfer the servicing of Mr* ******' loan.
On May 17, 2024, a Notice of the Transfer of Servicing Rights letter was sent to Mr. ****** by Atlantic Bay, stating that his loan would be transferred to ************** for servicing starting July 1, 2024, by law a service transfer notice must be provided to a consumer at least 15 days prior to payment due date. We regret any confusion and assure you that the necessary disclosures were made in compliance with agency guidelines.
