Sparetime is refusing to return my $50 I put down for deposit. They are saying because this happened a while ago, they can only offer me a gift card.I contacted them a few months ago and was supposed to get a response back by I never did.I emailed them again today and the response was that a gift card is the only way to get some type of refund.Business response

Good morning. We are in receipt of complaint you filed with the BBB.
Were sorry to hear about your experience and would gladly refund your $50 deposit. However, we cannot find your name in any of our software systems which we need to tie to the deposit youd like refunded.
As well, we reached out to our accounting team to see if they could locate the deposit with a credit card. We struck out there too.
Was the reservation under another name and/or was the deposit paid with someone elses credit card.
