I cleaned out my storage unit on ***** Dr. ** ********, **. And sent the picture of the proof on May 17 via text message . I was supposed to be receiving my security deposit within days of my unit being cleared. I have yet to receive my deposit and I have contacted the company numerous times regarding this matter. Now my text messages are no longer being received by the company and it states that I need to contact the company to set up text message communication.Business response

I will be calling ****** this week to confirm has has received his deposit back. This complaint should be filed through the storage unit company, Self Storage *********** and NOT ********* Properties. Self Storage New England manages their own money and expenses while ********* leases out their vacant units and takes care of maintenance. With that said, we have changed the policy of security deposit returns for Self Storage *********** and have required the owners to allow us to return these deposits going forward.
Again, ****** has every right to be upset with the tardiness of his deposit return but it should not be under GP and rather under Self Storage New England.
