During July / August of 2022 I was given the contact information for *********************** repair for my EZGO Golf cart. **** had stated he would pick up our cart on a Monday ( which he didnt ) and had to contacted and reminded several times and eventually picked it up a week later. He was told in detail what was wrong with the cart and said he would be able to fix it. Spent $550 and a week and a half in total at his shop and he did not fix the problem. Sent it back to us 2x saying it was fixed and the problem ( not moving) was fixed and he could not replicate the issue when in fact it was not. We had the cart for exactly 2 hours and it again would not move, we asked **** to pick it up and fix it as it was still not working as our original problem. The cart was picked up again and at one point a text was sent to **** and his wife ( who helps with the business ) as to possible problems including the possibility the problem was a brake switch The barrage of nasty , abusive messages ( which I can provide ) from his wife were shocking and unprofessional. The cart was once again brought back and them saying it was fine. It stoped working again within 3 hours and advised **** once again . I finally took it to another shop that took 10 minutes to find the problem.( brake switch ) He will will not issue refund and stated work was done Abusive language on messaging from his wife combined with a total lack of responsibility for his part. Replaced a solenoid that wasnt needed and cleared codes ( which takes 1 minute)I would like a refund of the $550 spent as parts were replaced that werent needed and our problem still existed after he worked on it .

First this cart was bought in ****** from a dealer up there . I found out after the fact. They supposedly had the cart for about a month and started having problems with it. I advised them to take it back to the original dealer for warranty repair. They didnt want to rent a trailer and go across the border. (which is illegal to buy up there and bring carts down here). So We took it in and diagnosed the controller for faults. It had about 16 faults on the programmer. We cleared all the faults. The faults all came from the main contacter which is the solenoid. We replaced the solenoid. We drove the cart for 2 days without any problems. We delivered cart and got a call the next day that it stopped. We went out and picked the cart up (and it drove when we got thereby the way) and took it back to the shop. We programmed the controller again and found absolutely no faults. We drove the cart for 2 more days and it ran fine. We didnt here from them after that. They were charged the original invoice only. They were not charged at all the second time , as we didnt find any faults. When I got a text from the customer on Sept 7th that they brought it to the original dealer(which they should of in the first place). They said the dealer replaced the stop switch, AND THE DEALER SAID THE STOP SWITCH IS THE SAME CODE AS THE STOP SWITCH , which is a different fault code. I politely texted them and said they were charged for the work done period. They were charged for the first repair. They weren't charged the second time, Not even a pick up fee. Now if they want me to pick the cart up and take the solenoid out and put the old solenoid back in, and give there money back for the solenoid only plus the pickup fee, i would be happy to do it. Please help me resolve this. I also would like to see the repair from the other shop.

      Good day ,

Unfortunately **** Hormsbee is not being truthful , it is not illegal to bring a cart over the border , and quite simply we were charged for work that was not completed correctly. The reason we contacted **** to repair our cart is we did not have the means at the time to bring it back to the dealer. If you re-read the messages I provided ( which I will attach again ) he was less than ***operative , rude and unprofessional.

Clearing the codes in a golf cart with a programmer is literally pressing delete with the module. In theory all codes should  have been explored. When I advised **** to please test the brake switch / stop switch we received a barrage of rude messages back stating they dont use ******* etc repair the cart. (See messages)

Once I was able to get the cart to the shop were I bought it ( rented a truck and trailer ) I was advised within 30 minutes that it was the brake / stop switch and they put it a new one. This rectified the problem but as you can see from the messages **** was too arrogant and did not want to hear what the possible problem might be. I have a message from **** stating (recently )he would give me money back for the solenoid but I would have to get the cart to him.

In a nutshell the communication was horrible and unprofessional and he nor his wife wanted to explore other options as to what could be the problem and actually was the problem.

      - charging for a solenoid that was not required as it as the brake / stop switch
      - drove the cart for 20 minutes after it was allegedly repaired and it did EXACTLY the same thing ( would not move )
      - he reluctantly picked it up again 3 days later to work on it.
      - he was advised in speaking with another tech to check the brake / go switch and responded with a barrage of insults.
      - rude and aggressive messages
      - charging $200 for programmer work that was WAY over the top and still did not find the problem.
      - refused to refund for work down that was not necessary and did not help my cart.
