In early February of 2024, I called Best Western in ******, ** to reserve a 4 night stay in late March for a training event my Army Brigade was running. Apparently, the representative I spoke to keyed in the wrong date, and put my stay in for February 25th instead of March 25th. Needless to say, I did not show up for the erroneously entered hotel stay. Afterwards I saw a charge post in my account for $125.46. I inquired with their customer service about this charge. When I learned what had happened, I provided proof that my stay was supposed to be the following month and I requested they refund me this penalty. They refused to refund the penalty, so at the recommendation of my Brigade leadership, I disputed the charge with my bank. This appeared to work fine for a few months, but today, on June 24th, 2024, the hotel's General Manager, *****************, called me and told me that my bank dispute was not complete and they were fighting it. The fact that they want me to pay for their mistake displays an incredible lack of self-accountability on behalf of **** and his team. This is a show of appallingly bad customer care, and I am awestruck that they are still fighting against me on this. I am leaving this review with the hope that my money is not taken back by ***************** and his team, and that no other customer has to suffer through this ordeal caused entirely by the management of this mismanaged hotel.Business response

On our record, we resolved the issue on 6/25/2024 by refunding the charge amount of $125.46. We have confirmed that the guest received the refund amount.
