Urgent warning, I cannot say this loud enough. Stay away from GRC Prime bath under all circumstances. Last October 2023, we contracted with them to convert a tub to a shower. We paid our nearly $7k deposit and were told installation would be scheduled in 2 weeks. Got a call month later from sales *** **** saying some parts were not available and we discussed alternative's and he said he as placing the order. Two more months passed and ****** (owner) calls and tells us they were waiting on financing to come through so they could get our job ordered. Over the next several months it was excuse after excuse followed by no contact or responses. At one point we asked about canceling and was threatened if we did it was a breach and we lose the rights to our deposit. I knew that was false, but I would have had to drag them into court to sort that out, and like LLCs do, they would have shut down ops and moved on. Finally, 8 months after we gave our deposit, we get a call asking if they could do the install that day because they had a cancellation. We were afraid to say no, so they came and installed. The overall work was fine, but nothing great and they installed the wrong color shower walls and moved the shower head, faucets and drain to the other wall without asking. They did not have the barn style door we ordered but said they had a load coming in a week and would be by to install, they held back a grand of what we owed until it was installed, it never happened, and we have not heard from the since. I sent an email giving them until 1 Sep 24 to install the door, they did not so I consider the contract closed and complete. ****** and her son (**** or *****) who is the installer told me so many lies they could not keep them straight. They gave me no straight honest answers to direct questions.

GRC  would never promise to install in two weeks considering material delays that continue to exist.  The part that **** had mentioned not available was a shelf and we were able to make adjustments to the contract.  ****** is not the owner of GRC.  GRC has been going through a lot of delays caused by material supply, staffing and yes we have struggled financially.  Our contract has a cancellation clause and allows three days after signing.  We did offer a last minute install and they did agree.  If GRC installed a different color walls than ordered we would never do without the homeowners approval.  We are still working on getting the barn door installed.  But supply and staffing continue to be an issue.  We have high work ethics and struggle finding employees with this same quality.  We do not lie to homeowners and we are deeply sorry that the ******** feel the way they do.
