8/30/2024, Signed up for One Month membership in the store for $400. Was told it would auto-renew for $109/mo after that and that I could easily cancel at any time. I Received an email later with this contract attached where they put my signature on a repeating multi-month contract for $1,200 total. They used deceptive methods to trick me into a longer more expensive contract. I have attempted 8 times to contact the company by phone during business hours, left 4 messages without reply, went into the store 2 times during normal business hours but they were closed and no one was there. There is no way to cancel the membership online. All other attempts to cancel my membership have been unsuccessful. This company appears to be predatory in nature.Initial Complaint

I agreed to do a free assessment with StretchZone where they stretch my muscles and create a plan. After the stretching, they offered me multiple prices for different services. They communicated to me that it was "pay as you go". They wanted to keep my credit card on file, but they would charge me per session. They did not give me a copy of the agreement the day we did the assessment. I never received a copy of the agreement. Over the last 3 months, I never went to StretchZone. So, I've never received any services from them. A few days ago, I looked at my bank statements and noticed they charged me $1,200. They were charging my credit card $400 each month. I called and asked them why and they said it was in the agreement. I never got a copy of the agreement. The owner will not call me directly. Apparently, they have mechanism where you give them your credit card, they sign you up for subscription services, and then you have to opt out of those services. I told them that I never got a copy of the agreement so I did not get a chance to read that. I also told them that I did not know they would be charging me. They reviewed the file and conceded that I have not received any services. However, they said they are keeping my money because it was in the agreement. I told them that they have to give the agreement to me and they should give copies to every customer that signs up. They still have not given me the agreement. These are predatory tactics. They sell stretching for money. However, they are also adding language to their agreements that allow them to make profits even when services are not provided. They do not provide the agreements as a regular part of their process. They should not be able to prey on customers like this. I want my money back. I did not know they would be charging me $1,200 without any services be rendered.
