Our school receives federal funding, is accredited and over seen by the ********** of ************* policies that we must enforce, and follow are per them.
Per the ********** of ********** We had to send back part of ******** and all the loans to the ********** of **********
We called the student; she was supposed to come by the school to discuss and pick up her drop documents and did not come. We mailed the drop documents to her on March 5th and have not heard from her until this complaint.
Each student has 3 days from the first day of attendance to withdraw. This student was in school for a month. The amount due is for the time attended and the partial kit that was issued, school is not free.
Our Tuition Refund Policy was disclosed at orientation and is on the contract that each student signs, which hers is attached. We called again today and left a message and email that we are happy to discuss her situation.Initial Complaint

I am a Valedictorian of Victorias and current licensed ******. I have a large amount in student loan debt and a small amount owed to Victorias. The school without my notice moved their remaining balance, after multiple payments and payment attempts, over to YCCS National Collection System where said balance is now accruing 12% interest. YCCS wont even allow payment arrangements less than $250 and have been accruing interest in the principal balance this whole time without either notifying me.Business response

This student graduated on 4/16/2022 with a balance of $1999.00 in which he signed the attached document for a payment agreement starting 4/21/22 of $111.06 a month for ****************************** Victorias Academy. The contract states if a student fails to make payment for 30 days, they will be sent to collections. You can see the attached statements that show the student only made 3 payments in 10 months, with the last payment being on 10/12/22.He was sent to collections in February of 2023 for non-payment. He was a great student but is expected to fulfill the agreement to pay his debt to ********'s under the terms he signed that he understood.
