I purchased a home on August 31 2022 and was promised that it is set up so that installing an electrical vehicle charger would be easy for any electrician. After consulting with multiple electricians and learning that the design would have to be completely ripped out and redone, I reached out to the electrical installer for my home. My home is brand new, and this electrical installer came out and told me that it would cost around $600 to complete their job. Ive been requesting for them to schedule the job to be completed for many months. They finally responded to me telling me that they would not be able to schedule my job for completion. All of the other electricians Ive spoken to have quoted me multiple thousand dollars to rip out what was put in place and install the correct thing. Ive been asking Eastlake electric to provide me with any type of design specifications or details to help provide to other electricians so that I can get my car charger installed. Theyve not provided any help to date. I am basically just left leaving messages, sending emails, and having no reply from them.
