DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!! *****/OWNER(?) VERY UNPROFESSIONAL/UNETHICAL! DEFINITELY READ ABOUT MY EXTREMELY IMMORAL, ANGERING, UNFAIR SITUATION. Within 2 hrs of leaving jewelry there, after thinking that night about their "$50 EXPRESS FEE", I decided not to proceed with having them do the work. Left their store at 3:30 on 8/14/24 (close at 5:00) called to cancel the following day at 10:30 - 8/15/24 (open at 10). Told "no problem - Ill pull it - come pick it up. Within 20 minutes of that call, I got a call saying couldnt pull my rings back as they had already done the work! COULDN'T CANCEL! About 2 hrs total time of their store being open over the 2 days. What happened to needing 2 wks AND THAT ONLY IF I AGREED TO PAY THIS EXPRESS FEE! Originally told it would take 10 wks. When I said that wont work, told I could get them done sooner by JUMPING THE LINE IN FRONT OF EVERYONE ELSE (said at least 100 other people) BY PAYING AN EXPRESS FEE of $50". Estimated delivery date 8/28/24. I reluctantly agreed cause it's my wedding rings! I didn't like the idea of paying this FEE and GETTING TO JUMP IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS! OR if I didnt pay this $50 fee it would take 10 wks! Went to pick up my rings, told *****/owner I would pay for the work they had done ($130 + tax) BUT NOT THE $50 SCAM FEE! He actually said Its not a SCAM - NO, YOU GOT TO JUMP THE LINE- IN FRONT OF OVER 100 PEOPLE ." ***** then said "Many customers cant afford to pay this fee and by doing so you got to jump in front of over 100 of them! Then told me either pay the full amount $180 including Express Fee or YOU'RE NOT GETTING YOUR RINGS BACK! I'm angry and disgusted that I was initially willing to participate. BUT then tried to cancel AND COULDN'T - cause they completed the work! First told would have to wait 10 wks, THEN only 2 wks IF I PAY THIS FEE and THEN magically they get it done that same day right after I left their store? DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE UNETHICAL UNPROFESSIONAL FOLKS!
