We originally rented this property a little over a year ago when she decided to take her grandmother back to **********. I will start off saying the house was absolutely inhabitable, and disgusting. She did buy the items to redo the house and my dad, free charge of labor, spent an entire month redoing the home and even was nice enough to rip up the carpet for the men coming to put new carpet down. She wanted a fence up, also free of labor, but we had neighbors who threatened my husbands life when putting up the fence , we also have video evidence of this, and she knew this but continued to ask other neighbors to take pictures of the fence not finished. Knowing our lives were repeatedly in danger. She wanted ** to take care of her grandmothers cat and stated in the lease about paying the electric in the shop for those cats, but after we learned that was not happening we stopped feeding the cats in question. We fixed that house and even kept the yard nice after it had been worn down for years which was fine. What was upsetting and the reason for this is a month before our lease ending she says her grandmother is coming home. She didnt say leave right then but she was buying a manufactured home for ** which looked like we were transitioning from one place to another. 8 days before April 4th my husband messaged her and she said she is having issues and we needed to find elsewhere. No written notice and in ** thats illegal because she claims we agreed text but still written needs to be binding. We owe for 2 car payments and I just want the remainder for our deposit because she left our kids and ** homeless and my dad was nice enough to fix that home for FREE! We thought wed be there for a long time, and No notice. And I also have messages stating the stuff she wanted to keep in the back shed and the rest to keep or get rid of which we did because it was broken or cat infested. This is wrong and you know it. I also texted you a forwarding address. Lied about camper.

      Dear ***** & ***************************,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of Kraken Real Estate. However, we must clarify that nobody on our team represented you in a real estate transaction, and your grievance is a personal matter. We would like to present the facts of the situation as they occurred.

You entered into a 1-year rental agreement, in which you agreed to assist with specific repairs, retain personal belongings of the homeowner that were remaining in the home or move them to the garage or shed for storage, paint the home interior with the paint provided, and feed the outdoor cats (food was provided) in exchange for a significant discount on rent. You were provided with brand new light fixtures, ceiling fans, and a bathroom vanity to install, and paint to paint the interior of the home. When the painting took longer than expected, causing a delay in your moving in, rent was waived for an entire month.

The home you moved into was clean, habitable, partially furnished and just had brand new carpet and a brand-new heat pump installed. You were provided with a month's notice to vacate, and we expressed that we were working on purchasing a manufactured home that you could rent. We stated that you could store personal items in the garage until it was available because the 90-year-old lady you rented from was returning and you needed to have all your things out of the house.

However, upon returning, it was discovered that you had abandoned the home and stole several items, including a ride-on lawn mower, refrigerator, trash compactor, push mower, generator, and more. The amount of trash and automotive parts left on the property resulted in a $1000 junking bill. You dug holes all over the property, cut down half a tree, and did not mow *********** you were contracted to mow. The remaining ride-on tractor and other equipment are not usable because you parted them out. The neighbor confirmed that you sold items on ******** Marketplace, and we have video of ***** illegally discharging a firearm in the front yard.

We are sorry that this situation has caused you distress. However, we must reiterate that our team was not involved in any way, shape, or form, and we hope that this clears up any confusion. Thank you for your understanding.

      Best regards,

      Kraken Real Estate
