So far I have had the worst experience with that company. The young lady that checked my things in did not give me an itemized list or anything She simply said that I had some really nice pieces and with the exception of 3 to 4 items everything should sell. Because I have known a couple other people that have been there. I stupidly, accepted their word without getting a printout of my items. Supposedly only three of my items were kept at the consignment, the rest, ******** , *********, Burberry, Manolo, shoes, and and tons of jeans and dresses ************************* have supposedly been donated without my knowing Im a total believer in giving items a second life opportunity with someone else that will appreciate them as much as I did I love thinking that my things would be in the shop selling and not simply vanished, especially that amount of stuff. I am at complete loss of words sad and very disappointed. I think the lady I've spoken to twice ***** maybe said that she will call me Sunday and Monday to not return my calls and have me call back for an answer. it's just unbelievable!!! I would hate to think that race played a role in the decision Having said that, I am not the person to go around saying things happen to me because I am black in my day in and day out life The owner does not appear to have any interest in resolving this issue as she has never returned my calls What I thought would be a great opportunity for me to support local businesses as opposed to staying with The RealReal who has been nothing but fantastic to me.I'm so grateful and thankful that I did not empty out my closet completely.Business response
