Horton Roofing and Masonry (#HORTORM777QM) ***** was canvassing the neighborhood while I was outside 11/24/23. He had a special deal for me to repave my driveway, and would be back in a few days to do the work. He talked me into it, said I could pay with ***** and he left. I was skeptical of the price but did want the work done. No word or contact from ***** until 1/11/24 when his large crew was already at work on my driveway when ***** knocked on my door. He asked for the quote paper and insisted on cash. I was stunned and dismayed. I felt I was taken advantage of as a senior, especially when I saw the completed job. Terrible, shoddy work! Loose gravel, dangerously uneven, and they left a mess that I cannot clean up. My calls and emails to their ****************** have gone unanswered. No surprise. I cannot believe I fell for all the red flags!!

These guys (specifically named *****) approched me when I pulled into my driveway. They stated that they had extra material after sealing a neighbor's driveway and would give me a deal. I asked if they would fill the holes and cracks and remove the ****. THEY SAID YES!! They did not fill anything, nor did they remove the **** (they just sprayed over it). They also did damage to both my garage doors with oil stains. I attempted to call them after said job; however, all of my calls are being ignored. Lastly, after speaking with my neighbor who's house they also damaged, I found out they charged her less than what they charged us as well. She also filed a claim. This company never did the work and destroyed my property. Since my calls are going unanswered and there has been no attempt to fix said issue by them I would like a full refund.

Horton Roofing and Masonry was working on my neighbor's driveway. I pulled into my driveway, and one of the workers asked if I'd like to have my driveway sealed. I asked if they would scrape the **** and fill the holes and cracks. He said yes. I asked how much. He said $1,000. I said no, and he finally agreed upon $600. It looked like they were spray painting my driveway black. I asked again about filling the holes and cracks, and he said they'd fill in with the sprayer. It was getting dark, and I couldn't see well. It literally took them 10 minutes to "complete" the job. In the morning, I went out to see they hadn't filled any holes or cracks, and I could see the **** through the paint. I tried calling and got a message that said the person I was trying to reach couldn't be reached. I scanned the ** code on the invoice. I got a message on my phone that said to contact my provider. I left them an email that said I was very unhappy and did not receive the service I'd paid for and expected them to fix it. A few hours later, I saw their truck in the road in front of the house. I went out and told them I wanted it fixed and that it looked terrible. He promised he was coming back the next day, Sunday, and that the cracks and holes would somehow fill themselves in within 48 hours. He never came back. My neighbor was also unhappy and he painted his garage doors the next day to cover the disgusting mess they'd left on them. Mine are completely ruined, and before they left, they told me that discoloration wouldn't stay on the doors and they poured gasoline on them. My house smelled like gas that night and the next day.
