My company paid in full Lumenomics, the purchase and installation of a solar light-capturing system that transports light, from the rooftop of a building to dark interiors, through fiber optic cables. We paid them about $40K in full. It cost my company about another $60K to accommodate the product. The system failed within the first several weeks because of its defective workmanship - a fiber optic cable they installed caught onto a platform that they designed and pull it apart. The cable broke. We asked them to replace the cable that broke because of the defective work and this is what we were told by the **** ***********************, of Lumenomics: "As of this date, we have been unsuccessful in getting the fiber optic company to sell direct to us for the replacement fiber optic cable. We can share the source with you and you can see if you can get them to sell to you. This is an unfortunate event where *** invested in "Tesla" early on, and it failed. This is the downside of leading-edge technology."
