MaxCare replaced our deck after a tree fell on it several years ago. We are now having problems with the deck warping. I noticed the deck warping in May, 2023 of this year. I sent several emails to Maxcare inquiring about repairing their work in ******************, and June. They did not reply. I sent several more emails to the project manager in June. She did not reply. My direct complaint is the lack of reply to repairing the warping this year and when they will repair their work. The replacement was done in 2019 and they did a poor job. The entire project beginning to end took a full year. They did not put a temporary railing on the deck for 6 months, while we had small children under the age of 5 running around. It was a safety hazard. They did not clean the shattered glass railing in a timely manner and for the last 4 years my children have been finding large chunks of glass everywhere beneath the deck.Business response

After reviewing the complaint, we have gone through all emails and were unable to locate any incoming emails regarding these concerns.
The project manager who ran this job is no longer with the company, this may be the reason we were not aware/advised of the concerns.
I had our operations manager reach out to the homeowner via phone, he was prompted to leave a voice message. He advised the homeowner to reach out to us via our office phone line ************, as we are more than happy to review and resolve any workmanship issues.
We have not heard back but will continue to reach out in order to resolve this matter.

I would like to drop this complaint entirely. Maxcare reached out to me and fixed all the poor work done by the company previously. The new team did a terrific job and addressed all my concerns. Please go ahead and erase this complaint. I am satisfied with Maxcares work to solve my issue.Initial Complaint

On 6/11/21 My motor in my car had blown. My car had proper maintenance and was under maxcare warranty. They argued back and forth with carmax about who was responsible for paying for repairs. After months of that they decided to pay for repairs. It is now 3/31/22 and my car still isn't fixed after multiple attempts. They have not compensated me for any of my inconvenience except one month of my car payment.I've had to wipe out my savings because I had to pay the car payment and insurance on a car I cannot drive. I was the only one to suffer this whole time. As a traveling nurse I must have transportation to work. They haven't reached out to see if it was resolved or communicated with carmax about how much of and inconvenience this is for me. I am disappointed in this whole situation and have suffered greatly because they waited months to take ownership. They didn't agree to take responsibility even though I was clearly under warranty,and had proper maintenance documentation. My car sat for 3months untouched just accumulated payments because of their lack of professionalism and interest in my issue.Business response

Our business is not in the car warranty business, we are a restoration company that deals with home insurance claims.
This compaint is filed against the wrong maxcare- we do not work on or with vehicles in any way.
