Because of *************************** unethical and unprofessional conduct in a DJ group on ********* I will be seeking harassment charges as well as slander and defamation of character. I would not recommend this business to anyone as he has no moral or ethical means to be conducting a wedding dj service..Business response

Because **** is no longer part of nyte owl entertainment?
But **** has been doing alot to make bad reputation since he left

We hired Nyte Owl Entertainment for our wedding on September 10th, 2022. About halfway thru our engagement we were informed that the business was sold but they would be honoring our contract and doing our wedding. We had a few meetings (at both *** was late or rescheduled) so we had a bad feeling but we decided to roll with it because our non-refundable deposit was in play. He even called me a few days before the wedding to confirm what time he was coming to set up. On our wedding day nobody showed up from the company. We called the various numbers listed for the company and nobody responded. We texted, emailed, left messages. We finally got a hold of him two days later and we asked for our money back per our contract. He said he is flat broke and can't give us our money back but might be able to eventually. He has not responded to us in over a week.Initial Complaint

I hired this company to DJ my wedding on 10.1.22. I hired them in December of 2021. In July of 2022, they disconnected their website so i asked what happened. They told me the business had been sold and they would be honoring contracts still, at this point i have paid the ****** dollar deposit. Well, it has been impossible to get a hold of the company. I finally got a hold of the "new owner" and he says he is busy that day but someone will show up to DJ my event. I said that is unacceptable because I hired a quality DJ not a replacement they pull from somewhere. I told them if they refunded my 522 dollars I would find my own DJ and forget it. They now refuse to answer me, have blocked my email and i cannot get into touch with them. They have failed to communicate anything. Also when I booked them, they said we would have a meeting 90 days prior to the event with our DJ to discuss plans. We are 74 days away, have no DJ, no communication, and no hope!!!! And not to mention we are out 522 dollars since we cannot get an answer from this company. If you look into the company, it appears the whole thing is a scam. The mailing address is a house, not owned by either of the "previous or new" owner, the website is out of service, they have changed their business name from *************** entertainment LLC to nyte owl entertainment. They also claim to not have WIFI or cell service in place yet and thats why they cant answer clients. But don't worry, they have it handled.Business response

Client was informed of the sale via email as well as that the site would be down. Client was given the new owners phone and email address. Client was assigned a new DJ within a week of requesting. Client has been told numerous times her wedding would be covered and to be patient as the new owners went through everyone's files and schedules to get up to speed. Client was originally ally asked to allow 2 weeks fora new dj to be assigned, this was unacceptable to the client. We made her wedding a priority even though we have 30 events before hers to sort out
Client was assigned a dj and still refused to cooperate and requested her event be canceled. Per the contract the client was informed if she cancels there would be no refund. As of this writing Client has been sent a cancelation agreement but continues to harass our staff and ex owner. Most of the texts provided are with the old staff and not with the new owner.
