July 15th, 2023 Power Moves has lost integrity over the year. The workers left footprints on my brand new rug. **** and ***** state they cannot wear shoe covers for safety reasons. However they could have worn indoor only shoes but dont offer that as an option. The company could also pay for the cleaning but state that they dont pay for that. **** stated that he would provide a copy of the insurance showing that rug cleaning is excluded from the policy but stopped responding to my attempts to communicate.Furthermore, during the first hour of the move one of the workers excused himself more than once to take a meal break and this time wasnt deducted from my move.The company was informed in advance that there were several doorways but didnt come equipped to prop then open. They used rocks from the lawn to prop the doors about 3/4 of the way open which means movers spent additional time maneuvering large furniture through doorways that werent completely open.Lastly, the workers didnt have scissors or cutting devices to remove plastics from items and spent a considerable amount of time ripping the wrapping off of the furniture until I provided a box cutter.Business response

$144.00 on 6/29/22(transaction) charged to my credit card, move did not occur, wanted to be assured of a refund, called 4 numbers of theirs, no response, went to office in ****** and it is closed downBusiness response

We made an attempt to call you August 17th, 2022 at 3:42 pm. We made contact with you but was hung up on. We called number ************. The call lasted 5 seconds. The charge of $144 was collected at 4:29pm on 6/29/2022. The booked move date was 7/3/2022. We received text message correspondence on the Date of the move at 7:52am on 7/3/2022 saying as quoted i will call asap. Am sorry, please cancel moving of chair at 9/10 am From *******.
Again, i want to reiterate that this was the morning of a move that was schedule between 9/10am.Our policy states that a customer has 3 days prior to the start of the move to cancel and receive a full refund. The move was canceled not rescheduled..Our automated system sent a text confirming move details and time the morning before exactly 24 hours before at 9am on 7/2/2022. The response was okayPlease withdraw your claim stating that its an invalid charge. We had other jobs call for that scheduled date and we told them no expecting to work on your job. Thats why a deposit is non refundable for anything under 3 days.--
