Remodeling project started November 1, 2023 w/an expected completion date of December 21, 2023. The quality of the cabinets for our kitchen remodel did not meet Brooks' expectation (multiple employees commented "I don't know why they even brought them" meaning the quality should have been obviously disqualifying & the cabinets should have been rejected at production and not even been brought to our house.) There were large streaks on two sides of our cabinets and a flaw on our peninsula cabinet where the finish was peeling away from the side - Brooks offered to install side panels on the affected cabinets to cover up these flaws, which we agreed because we were told the only other alternative was for the cabinets to be removed, remade & reinstalled. With the multiple delays we had already experienced, that was a poor option for us. Brooks had brought us a mock up of the panels showing they would only cover the side of the cabinet but not span all the way to the floor. Not all the side panels were measured correctly -one was correct and the other 2 extended to the floor. The panels in the cabinet doors shrunk leading to very noticeable unstained wood showing. Brooks employees came to "touch up" these cabinets. **** came and saw the touch *** were so poorly done that all cabinet doors were removed, taken back & refinished. This resolution by Brooks was appreciated, however, when the cabinet doors were reinstalled, they were not hung properly - the slow-close does not work on one, other doors do not close properly, doors are loose, some are rubbing on other doors. I have called, texted, messaged and stopped out to *****'s office but did not get any indication of completion. In April, nearly 6 months after our project had begun, my wife and I dropped off a list of specific items that we wanted to be resolved, after another 3 months, no further action has been taken by Brooks to meet, discuss, or complete our project.
