I have always enjoyed their food and was really craving it last weekend. My girlfriend and I went and about 1/3 of the tables were full and a couple more people waiting for takeout. We ordered water and got the garlic knots right away. They were delicious like always. An hour passes and as we were waiting patiently we were told that our order was mistakenly deleted so we had to reorder (Chicken parm and a grilled chix sandwich). The waitress was very apologetic so we reordered and had to tell our later plans that we would be late. Still waiting patiently but after another 35 min we decided to just pay for the knots and leave. I went to the counter and asked to pay. The owners daughter was there and had to ask her mom for help on the register. The owner walked past five or six times without even looking at us. It was disappointing that the ownership didn't care enough about our experience to even attempt to apologize. I was completely polite but clear that we just wanted to pay and leave. I was surprised that the daughter indicated she was giving us a break by charging us $11. On my way out, I peeked at the menu and sure enough garlic knots were only $7. We passed the waitress near the door and I stopped her and said that I was planning on giving her a tip but was surprised we were overcharged. At that moment the owner comes stomping up and starts yelling at me. I couldn't get a word in edgewise as she yells about being busy and they "already took the pizzas off our bill". She's still screaming at me as I stand there completely stunned. I made some comment about, this is how you treat your customers? And as she continues to yell I just walk out the door. I don't care how good the food is, she doesn't deserve another dollar from me and will let everyone know that she should be as far away from the front of the house as possible. Eat there at your own risk.
