      We went through Taylor Made for our basement flooring. They came out to measure for carpet and lvp flooring. They installed our carpet, we thought price was fair, it was great. We only bought the lvp from them as our husband installed it. We trusted their measurement but they had us buy 5 cases over what was needed ($543 worth of flooring.) Then suggested my husband buy 2 extra boxes as he could just return it if he didn’t use it. They would not return it even though it was unopened because this is their return policy. If that is the return policy then why do you have customers order that much over? When contacting them the customer service was so poor. They emailed me and told me my number must have changed (even though my number is on the receipt she forwarded me). Might have been easier to deal with over the phone. I had emails from Donna and Tanya, neither of which cared about the customer.

      On December 7, 2022, a special order was placed in the name of ************************* for 44 cartons (***** square feet) of **** Hard Surface Pantheon HD Plus vinyl plank flooring.Our return policy states that The CUSTOMER is responsible for the number of cartons and the ************* of trim profiles being purchased. Unopened cartons and uncut profiles purchased from Taylor-Made Floors inventory may be returned for full credit within 90 days. In bold letters, the policy further states that Leftover cartons of material or unused profiles which have been SPECIAL ORDERED cannot be returned.After this policy was explained, the person making the purchase was asked to sign the policy, which he or she did. A copy of the sales receipt (with that signature) is on file and was scanned & emailed to Consumer. We hold to this policy because we cannot return unopened special order cartons to our suppliers.The customer paid for and picked up the material from our warehouse on December 27, 2022. On March 18, 2023, the customers husband attempted to return 5 unopened cartons but, because of the stated policy, we did not allow that return.We originally measured for professional installation and told the customer how much material our installers would be bringing to the job. We have no way of knowing whether all of the areas measured by Taylor-Made Floors were covered, nor whether professionally unacceptable short cuts were taken, resulting in less material being used.In any case, the customer states that her husband elected to order two cartons in addition to the amount needed for professional installation. Consumer signed "no return policy". Taylor-Made is not responsible for overages or shortages on material they did not install.
