After reading several negative reviews on the BBB site, I was hesitant to order from this company, but I decided to order a task chair anyway. Do NOT do business with this company. Out of the 40 chairs that we got, 20 of them broke within the first 8 months. That was over a year ago. While they did acknowledge there was a defect in the chairs, we have only gotten 8 out of the requested 20 replacement chairs to date. Every time there is an inquiry into the status of shipment for the chairs, we are given one excuse after the other why they are not ready yet; 'An upholstery issue' 'manufacturing delay' 'the supplier needs a video of the broken chairs'.....endless delays. We asked for a refund for the other 20 chairs and have been waiting for that for 6 months now. I was told that the refund check was sent on August 10th. When I followed up because we had not gotten it yet by August 24th, I was told that the check had been returned to them, and 'could I please verify the address'....my address is on every single email I have ever sent them, and they got the chairs delivered to the right place, so I do not believe that the check was ever sent. Way more expensive than if you were to just go right to the manufacture. Also, shipping is outrageous. They claim they have a lifetime guarantee - who needs a lifetime guarantee on a filing cabinet. Our lifetime guarantee is meant to provide our customers with peace of mind should they have a issue caused by defect after normal use of the product even if it has been more than 1-2 years as most manufacturer warranties are limited. I purchased a draftsman chair a few years ago partially because of their offer of a lifetime warranty. Well, a few weeks ago the pneumatic tube failed. I reached out to the company with my issue, including the date of purchase and model number. With in 48 hours I had a response from their tech service team. 14 days later the new pneumatic tube arrived. It's now installed and my chair, save a couple coffee stains :),is like new. This is a despicable company. NOT EVEN A STAR . Do NOT order anything from them. HORRIBLE I MEAN HORRIBLE return policy, and the item I ordered was not to my taste. Tried to return it and they will not accept returns .The return policy is not stated nowhere in page of the item I wanted it; Nor any return terms was mention at check out or something clicking a box agreeing to their returning policy. nothing about FINAL SALE ! The full details of our return policy are located on our website FAQ page and do specify that items that are assembled and no longer in the original box and packaging are not eligible for return. Clearance and custom items are also listed on the item page as nonreturnable. We do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. They know as much about office furniture and how it is used just as much as I do about nuclear medicine. Happy to call out the people "in charge"...Nate G*********, Catherine B**** (she was the supervisor in meeting all day...lol) and would rather not mention the customer service rep that did his level best but he is only as good as his weakest link...and they sign his paycheck so... File cabinet set up (on purpose!) so that standard file folders to are not easily removable - you need to BEND the pendaflex holders and the files inside bend as well...like PICTURES!. Oddly enough, they were initially set up for legal files...laughable. Like review below, cabinet doors did not line up. AND...they won't refer you to a repair/install service that will keep the Lifetime Warranty in tact. My mission...never reccomend and review the crap out of them warning others - not a quality operation!

After review of your order I see that these items were delivered 2-4 years ago between the different orders placed and that we have advised that the cabinet filing style does not change form side-to-side to front-to-back. Any modification of the cabinets to make them meet your current needs will void the warranty. We could provide you some alternative options that meet your current needs and are happy to assist within the warranty coverage guidelines in place.Review from Lisa R.

This is a horrible company. Do NOT order anything from them. Terrible customer service, poor return policy, and the item I ordered was poorly made. Took hours to build (and I have built a lot of office furniture), instructions were not correct for the piece, holes/pieces did not align, etc. Now it looks terrible. It's a large cabinet and the doors don't line up. Tried to return it and they will not accept returns on unboxed items - no doubt because they know how poor their quality is. Our return policy does stated that items that are assembled are ineligible for return, however we can send parts for most of our product for issues like the holes not aligning which is covered under defect. Ordered furniture, desks to be delivered 5/5/22, make arrangements, Received call from freight company today that furniture would be delivered instead on 5/6! To make a bad situation worst I paid for inside delivery, have the print out and am told by freight company that they will only deliver the pallet to the curb and will not bring it in the building. So now I need to find someone who can hang out between 9-11:30 to assist me moving over 400 pounds of furniture. When I called all I was told was no inside delivery was selected even though the print out says otherwise. I wish I had read the horrendous reviews below before ordering! RUN THE OTHER WAY, you may get quick furniture but it is not worth the stress and aggravation. When I went to the bestar website directly I could have saved over $100.00 plus free shipping. Every single one of the below negative reviews is correct. We placed an order in the beginning of December, specifically for "quick ship" available inventory. Upon receiving the order confirmation email a day later, the shipdate was noted as early March. *Red Flag 1: they blatantly lie about the item availability on their website.* I called NBF immediately to cancel my order and they offered a $300 credit. *Red Flag 2: they've had so many complaints they think a $300 credit is an appropriate solution.* My business partner and I decided to accept the offer. After 6 weeks of waiting, I called them to get a status update. They advised they entire order was held up on backordered filing cabinets, which are not structurally integral to the desk. I politely suggested it was not very smart to hold the entire order on non-essential pieces, so they shipped out everything else. Unfortunately, not everything else was available to ship and we still do not have an update on when all of the components will be available. This would have been nice to know ahead of time during the original discussion. Two weeks later we received portions of our three desks and upon opening the very first box we realized they shipped two of the same component, instead of two different component. We needed a left desk side #30 and and right desk side #31, but we received two #30s. Splendid. I called up to advise them of the problem and they advised me that they have to track down which manufacturer shipped the box to get a replacement scheduled, without confirming that the component is not backordered. One last point, the filing cabinets we received had back panels completely smashed through and we're useless to install because they arrived in broken pieces. We pushed the cabinet up against a wall and decided looked the other way instead of complaining again since it wasn't worth the additional aggravation. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere - DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS.

This was certainly not our intent but we will review how this could have happened and make corrections as needed as we continue to experience disruptions in the global supply chain. After reviewing your order details further, I can see that the vendor has advised as of today, 2/9/22, that the missing part is shipping, and you should receive delivery within the next week according to the update. The agent you have been working with will be following up with tracking and after delivery to confirm the correct piece was received in good condition. The remaining pedestals are still scheduled to ship on 2/11/22 and tracking will be provided as soon as it is available from the carrier.
