I Went In To Midas On April 11,2023 To Check A Noise that was going on. I paid for a Diagnostic Test And With The Results Of the Test Moved Forward To Get The Repairs Done! After 5 hours of keeping my vehicle! They came to pick me back up keep in mind they never showed me the replacement parts the took out! After driving the car for 2 hours it then stop! I called Midas And spoke with there secretary which contacted **** which came out to my place of residence and he said before he even got there said it was my starter! Keep in mind I just paid them for a diagnostic test which only shows a Fan Clutch And Waterpump! When I went In I specifically asked them to tell me what was wrong with my car and I will pay them in full! I have been charged all this money for my vehicle! And now its leaking again and when driving the vehicle its hesitant! I strongly believe no service was done to my car!!Business response

*************** to the complaint from ***********************, She called our shop to get a quote on what another place told her want she needed. We gave he a quote and she scheduled with us at that time, we told her we would confirm that that is what she need before we did the work and that was what she needed. The repair was done, vehicle was running fine and work was done by a master certified tech, unfortunately that evening after she parked the vehicle and went back out to go to work it didn't start. She called the shop at closing and I told her I would try to contact **** the manager, but what we did I don't believe has anything to do with the not starting as we did water pump and a fan replacement. I got information from her to give **** when I called him, he said that sounds like a starter so he came back to the shop grabbed a jump pack and tool to see if he could get it started for her. He couldn't get it started and told her it wouldn't be until Monday that he get it in to confirm it was a starter... **** went to her home Monday once again before having it towed to see if he could start it but couldn't so we had vehicle towed to us and confirmed it was the starter, he gave her the part at cost and employee labor rate because she was convinced it was something we did. The water pump wasn't leaking and everything was working fine when she left. She has also put complaints into corp. office and I've reached out to her and asked what I can do to resolve this issue as I felt we have went out of our way to see if it was our fault in anyway, she asked why I was calling her and explained that I was the owner and It's my responsibility to follow up with the customer, she said she didn't want to talk to me and hung up the phone! All she want's is a full refund which I don't feel I need to do and continues to add anything and everything to complaints to ************ *********** contacted her and they told her that this case is closed and she wasn't going to receive a refund per owner decision... I'm sorry but if I felt we were in the wrong I would work with her in anyway I could. This has put stress on ** as we have never had this type of person or customer complaint for the 17 years we have been in business.
